Well it looks like crime does pay after all.
At least 5 Democrats, including First Lady Michelle Obama, are bringing illegal aliens as guests to the State of the Union on Tuesday night - this despite a U.S. House rule requiring guests to provide their Social Security numbers
But a spokeswoman with the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency declined to comment about whether the agency approves of this occurring at the Capitol, where Obama is set to give his annual address on Tuesday night.
“I don’t have any comment for you on this,” Gillian Christensen, a spokeswoman with the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, said after inquiries as to whether the agency was aware of this and whether it was possible the guests could be arrested.
Unreal.
Of course ICE has no clue - because Obama has tied them into knots making arrests and/or deportations almost impossible - as ICE Union head Chris Crane has testified.
So in the heart of the "People's House" the laws of the People are being flaunted and laughed at in front on a national audience, and with every member of Congress present. And yet the silence is deafening.
Not one member we can find - in either party - has criticized this clear violation of the law.
– The First lady is hosting Alan Aleman, a 20-year-old illegal alien from Nevada as one of her guests. Under Obama's lawless decree, Aleman’s deportation proceedings have been deferred because he was brought into the country while he was under the age of 16.
– Virginia Democratic Sen. Mark Warner has invited 19-year-old Ambar Pinto, an illegal alien who goes to Northern Virginia Community College, as his guest.
– Illinois Democratic Rep. Luis V. Gutierrez is bringing 27-year-old Gabino Sanchez, an illegal alien who lives in South Carolina and is "fighting deportation", as his guest.
– Texas Democratic Rep. Marc Veasey has invited 32-year-old Julieta Garibay, an illegal alien who supposedly moved to Austin from Mexico with her family when she was 12, as his guest.
– And Florida Democratic Rep. Kathy Castor has invited Jose Godinez-Samperio, who has made news for trying to obtain a law license despite being an illegal alien.
How did they find any illegal aliens in the first place? We thought they were all "hiding in the shadows".
No matter who you are, this mockery of the rule of law should sicken you.
Whatever goes on is Boehner's responsibility ~ failure to have the Sergent at Arms detain the illegals ........... well, you know the routine.
Well why not when Mexico is allowed to insert itself into a lawsuit concerning national and state sovereignty. That to me was the height of flouting US law and sovereignty. Surely nobody thought that Boehner or any other Republican up there would interefere by seeing to it that our laws are enforced, when entire cities are called “sanctuaries” for illegals. I just hope our side remembers this, for the purpose of calling out their hypocrisy, when American citizens begin to flout anti-Constitutional laws against the 2A. We need to designate some “sanctuary cities” of our own for people who exercise their 2A rights against the unjust tyranny of the government.

The Mexican government adopts one, very smooth, tone when speaking to its patsies in America---vote-crazed US pols---- and another, very militant, tone when speaking to its own people about its ruthlessness in pursuing its own national interest at the expense of ours.

Is Mexico friend or foe?
EXCERPT Scary Times in the Texas Valley: Ask old timers about the “WW 11 days” in South Texas and you’ll get assorted stories and tales, enough to fill a book.....South Texas was a hot-bed of conspiracy theories, real and present dangers, and a fear of direct war time threat. Apparently the concerns were not without foundation.
For one, the political climate in neighboring Mexico was extremely volatile. Agents of the German war machine were known to be active throughout Mexico (with the knowledge and consent of the Mexican govt?).
Nazi Germany was the leading importer of Mexican oil, taking just over half of their annual production....... To counter, American oil and gas production in Texas and Louisiana was elevated. Port Isabel's large oil refinery was a shipping point for fuel headed to the war, and was considered a possible target for German U-boat shelling or even a shore scurry. For the first time in history, men and women were guaranteed in America a chance to succeed based not on who your parents were, but on your own initiative, and desire to work. We're in danger, tho, of forgetting what made us great: the President seems to think the country can continue to borrow $50,000 every second... the President believes if we can just squeeze more money out of those that are working... I don't think it'll work.
The path we are on is not sustainable, but few in Congress -or in this Administration- seem to recongize that their actions are endangering the prosperity of this great nation...
Ronald Reagan said 'Government is not the answer to the problem, government is the problem': tonight, the President told the nation he disagrees- President Obama believes government is the solution, more taxes, more debt.
What the President fails to grasp is that the American system that rewards hard work is what made America so prosperous. What American needs is not Robin Hood, but Adam Smith: in the year we won our independence, Adam Smith described what creates the Wealth of Nations... he described a limited government that largely did not interfere with individuals in their pursuit of happiness.
All that we are -and all that we wish to be- is threatened by the notion that you can have 'something for nothing'... that you can have you cake and eat it too, that you can spend a TRILLION DOLLARS a year that you don't have...
Congress is debating the wrong things: every debate in Washington is about 'how much to increase spending' a little, or a lot- how much to increase taxes, a little, or a lot...
Few people understand that the sequester -it just slows the rate of growth. Even with the sequester -if it goes through- government will grow $7 TRILLION over the next decade... ONLY in Washington could an increase of $7T be called 'a cut'. Big Government is NOT your friend- Big Government gives you stuff- but keeps you poor.
Tonight I urge you to demand a new course: demand Washington change their ways, or they'll be sent home. We absolutely MUST pass a balanced budget amendment to the Constitution: the amendment must include strict spending and tax limitations. Liberals complain that the budget 'can't be balanced', but if we cut just ONE PENNY from each dollar we spend, the budget would be balanced in 6 or 7 years (!)
