World leaders condemned North Korea’s defiant nuclear test yesterday amid fears the Communist pariah state is developing a weapon that could strike the US.
Outgoing US Defence Secretary Leon Panetta said North Korea represented a ‘serious threat’, adding: ‘We’ve got to be prepared to deal with that.’
Even close ally China was openly critical, while President Barack Obama said the ‘highly provocative act’ threatened international peace.

I did not think he even noticed. Maybe he will draw a line in the sand. I am just cynical enough, to think he wouldn't care if the Norks put one on American soil.
Sounds like a crisis he wouldn’t waste. The last attack gave us the Patriot Act. I cannot even imagine what they have been cooking up... unlimited executive power and lifetime President... maybe. Whatever it is, you can be sure it is already written and waiting in the wings. Maybe we should start a list of things the ruling class would try to implement in the next crisis.. Bet we don’t even come close.
How many times have the Clinton/Panetta cabal given food and aid to N Korea, when they had been starving to the point of self collapse, only now to clang their gongs and cymbals warning the world of how dangerous they have become?
If they are a threat, it’s because the Clinton/Panetta allies have fully intentioned N Korea to be threatening to the planet.

He would only care if it hit LA, SF, SEATTLE, CHICAGO, NYC et al.....IOW where his voter base is.
If they attack, they will hit either Alaska or a west coast blue state. I would hate to see anything happen to Alaska.

But unlike Islam, in which dying while fighting Infidels guarantees paradise, the North Korean culture seems to place no value on life and no profit in dying. So why would they want to guarantee their own demise by an attack on us?
Talking big to maintain his power among midgets seems to be his strategy.

If they hit us it would be lights out in Nork. Oh, I forgot. They don't have lights. Well, things would be very bright for a short time, anyway.
Five years ago that would surely have been the case. But now it likely would trigger another apology tour.

If they nuked us, obama would say it was our fault and buy them 100 nuke electric plants, a full electrical infrastructure, and all the lights the world can manufacture. Norkland would be the brighest lit country in the world.
And, he would tell us, "It won't cost us a dime."
