Ex-Seal Announces GOP run for MA Senate Seat

Former Navy Seal Gabriel Gomez has announced his intention to run in the special election to fill the vacancy left by John Kerry. A private-equity investor, Gomez now has until the end of the month to collect the 10,000 signatures necessary to get on the ballot. If successful, we would face state Rep. Dan Winslow, a former Romney staffer, in the primary April 30th.

“As I look at Washington," Gomez said in a public statement, "I see a lot of unproductive noise and bickering, and I see two parties attacking each other at all times over every issue. I see gridlock; I see a partisan atmosphere where very few are willing to work together.”

“In my military career, at the U.S. Naval Academy, as a Navy aircraft carrier pilot and as a Navy SEAL, I learned one thing above all else — serving others is more important than being served," he added.

Mr. Gomez, I will say 98%, maybe even more, are thinking, not of us, but their next election and how much priority they can gain for themselves. McConnell and Boehner have been in dc so long they are more democrat than Republican.
Too many only talk...staffers do the work, and most of them are more democrat than neutral. The staff are professionals who go to whoever has a job opening, when their present elected loses an election.
STAY AWAY from mccain and graham.

Reagan won Massachusetts. His message crossed party lines. He spoke to Americans. He spoke plainly and clearly a conservative message to the American people. Why can Republican candidates learn from history?
