If the body is identified to be Dorner’s,

So, by this statement, they (the police) weren't 100% sure that the person in the cabin was in fact Dorner?

Yet they burned it anyway? Hope he didn't have any hostages in the cabin. I guess we will never know...

I constantly have a nauseating feeling in my stomach... It never goes away any more.

If it wasn't Dorner I suppose they would expect the person inside to say so?

Does that matter when the person was shooting at them? Do people normally fire at law enforcement officers?
