Video at link.
Emphasis mine
At this rate, homeowners and vehicle owners will soon be government mandated to purchase LAPD insurance.

Maybe Rodney King was right, looks like the LAPD is turning into the Kripo (Nazi era “criminal police”). A side note, that still is no excuse for the LA riots of 1992 though.

It was not the LAPD.
It was the San Bernadino Sheriff’s Department.

Nice home/vehicle you have here... it’d be a shame if something happened to it.

They also told news choppers to turn off their live cameras, then told them to leave.

Awesome. They saved California tax-payers Millions of dollars and a media circus trial where this cop-killer would no doubt be glorified by the media and end up with thousands of sympathizers, mostly black, who would then riot upon his conviction.
He would then die of old age on Death Row.
To: Repeat Offender
I am sometimes critical of the cops but this time I can’t blame them a bit.

Just another WACO...They had absolutely no intention of taking him alive. The LAPD is now free of another witness.

So, if he died from the fire, was shot by the police, or took his own life......in the words of Hillary Clinton: “What difference does it make?”
To: Sacajaweau
One big difference, the people at waco hadnt commited any crimes let alone multie murders.
Still this was an execution by the police.

It was the San Bernadino Sheriffs Department. And a deputy was killed. I would have brought the gasoline.

This guy got exactly what he wanted - suicide by cop.

It could just as likely have been suicide by cop. My attitude about Dorner is “play stupid games, win stupid prizes”.

They also told news choppers to turn off their live cameras, then told them to leave. The thought crossed my mind that the reason for this was because they planned to send in a drone or two -- there's a drone base in San Bernardino.

It wouldn’t have happened then if there wasn’t a media scheduling conflict with Hussein’s speech.

It was the San Bernadino Sheriffs Department.
And a deputy was killed.
I didn't read his manifesto, but from the various news and commentary, I thought his beef was with the LAPD.
By holding up in San Bernadino, he involved their leo's. He killed one of their leo's and wounded another. He brought the 'battle' to them -- and they finished it.
