War On Terror: Victims of the Fort Hood shooting, including a prior SOTU guest, say they've been neglected by the military, "betrayed" by the president and denied full benefits in the name of political correctness.
Kimberly Munley was one of two police officers who confronted Fort Hood shooter Major Nidal Hasan when he shouted "Allahu Akbar" and opened fire on U.S. soldiers.
Thirteen people were killed, including a pregnant soldier, and 32 others shot in the Nov. 5, 2009, rampage at the Army base in Killeen, Texas.
Munley was shot three times as she and her partner, Sgt. Mark Todd, confronted Hasan, who opened fire on soldiers being processed for deployment to Afghanistan. As Munley lay wounded, Todd fired the five bullets credited with bringing Hasan down.
Three years after the White House arranged a hero's welcome at the State of the Union address for the Fort Hood police sergeant and her partner, Munley says President Obama broke the promise he made to her that the victims would be well taken care of.
She says she now believes the White House used her for political advantage in arranging for her to sit next to Mrs. Obama.
"Betrayed is a good word," said Munley, who sat next to First Lady Michelle Obama at the 2010 State of the Union address, and has been laid off from her job with the base's civilian police force. "Not to the least little bit have the victims been taken care of ... . In fact, they've been neglected."
One would expect that when a self-proclaimed "Soldier of Allah" shouting "Allahu Akbar" opens fire on dozens of U.S. citizens and soldiers, killing and maiming as many innocents as he can, it would have been called an act of terror.

The shooter scum should be tried for TREASON and then Publicly HUNG!
Obama’s not about to acknowledge that any sort of terrorism can be associated with the wonderful religion of Islam, just as he was not about to acknowledge that the situation in Libya after his intervention was anything other than fluffy pink bunnies and furry unicorns.
Keeping up the pretenses come first.
And tried for treason for a couple different incidents.

I prefer “act of treason.” I don’t want a precedent deeming Americans “terrorists” then to fall under a host of these dubious laws and outrageous powers.

Don’t you have to target innocent civilians for it to be terrorism? Might not shooting up a military base be considered within the parameters of normal warfare?
