Manufacturing stumbles but seen regaining footing

Manufacturing got off to a weak start this year as motor vehicle production tumbled, but a rebound in factory activity in New York state this month suggested the decline would be temporary.

Consumers were a bit more upbeat early this month even as they paid more for gasoline and saw higher taxes reduce their paychecks, other data on Friday showed. Households drew comfort from steady job gains, which together with rising house and share prices should help to underpin consumer spending.

Manufacturing output fell 0.4 percent in January after rising 1.1 percent in December, the Federal Reserve said. That followed two months of solid gains and largely reflected a 3.2 percent drop in auto production.

I’ll confess that I don’t have the creativity (aka “dishonesty”) to be able to pretend that the broken glass is half full.

imagine if Bush had an economy like this, yesterday whilst waiting I watched FOX and the blond ditz called Megyn Kelly asked how is obama’;s numbers on the issues so low but his overall numbers are high\\\\

I felt like screaming, “it;s because of the media always blaming the GOP and covering for obama”

She even put the number out on the TV and she can;t understand why people still like him, AARRGGHHH.

This media is the true enemy of the country and the constitution and our so called party does nothing about it, instead they should go after the media, call them out, make AD’s showing their bias and lies

That’s exactly how I react after watching Kelly, Greta, and other ditz heads on Fox.

The same fine economic reporters at Rooters that marveled this week at the amazing budget surplus for January - never realizing that it was the month Q4 and year end estimated taxes were due. I’m sure they will have the same reaction in April when Q1 payments come due...and June, and September.

Yes, you get it. There is simply NO other explanation. You cannot be a totally clustermess and have good poll numbers without the continued cheerleading propagandizing by the corrupt, partisan MSM.

On a side note, I don’t know if anyone’s ever made a comprehensive list, but if not someone ought to put together a list of people currently in the MSM with direct ties to Democrats, such as:

Chuck Todd
George Stephanopoulos
The guy from the Boston Glob just hired by John Kerry
And a slew of others

Whole bunches of gun makers are in NY State for some reason. That’s the ‘factory activity’ that they won’t name.
