The Obama administration’s Equal Employment Opportunity Commission says it should be a federal crime to refuse to hire ex-convicts — and threatens to sue businesses that don’t employ criminals.
In April, the EEOC unveiled its “Enforcement Guidance on the Consideration of Arrest and Conviction Records,” which declares that “criminal record exclusions have a disparate impact based on race and national origin.”
The impetus for this “guidance” is that black men are nearly seven times more likely than white men to serve time in prison, and therefore refusals to hire convicts disproportionally impact blacks, according to a Wall Street Journal opinion piece by James Bovard, a libertarian author and lecturer whose books include “Freedom in Chains: The Rise of the State and the Demise of the Citizen.” …

Relax, Zero could only clear the federal prisons (~ 176,000 prisoners) by E.O. The state prisons would still be full.

In the 1982 movie there is a scene at a cocktail party in which one guy advocates that whites should commit more crimes in order to equalize the disparity between the number of black muggers to white. It was treated as a joke but look, now we have the reality, that is exactly what liberals want. ]

You sign up for the government program, commit a crime and get off scott free as long as it is a white on non-minority crime......
In the long run we might be better off, though. If enough people stopped working and thus quit paying income tax, the government could not keep the lights on in Washington. Never mind foreign aid and welfare benefits to almost half the US population.
Unfortunately there are not enough people prepared to make such sacrifice for the good of the nation.

Well its not disportionate. Its exactly in proportion to the number of black criminals. Disportionate would mean if blacks were seven time more likely to serve time and fourteen times,say, more likely not to be hired.
There is nothing disportionate if the ratio remains the same. It is what it is.
Where blacks can help themselves is to not be criminals in the first place.

I said it a few years ago...in his final hours in office, he will enact a final "F**K YOU AMERICA!" with the act of a Presidental Pardon (with voting and firearm rights restored) to EVERY incarcerated black in America.
the may have some trouble in TX. Try putting “prison or conviction” on your job application...ha.
Wrong. Presidental Pardon for any citizen (or non-citizen) for any crime. Absolutely cannot be contested or countered unless you can impeach him and remove before his pen can sign the sheet of paper.
Maybe he'll offer them a deal: serve one year in his Homie Defense Corpse to get a pardon.

In this matter, a couple of generations' history shows they just can't help themselves.
Redistribution is a modern mode of helping those who have the moral inclination, but are just too lazy to steal. /S
