The following is what passes for entertainment on NBC. Saturday Night Live aired this sketch last night — just four days into Lent.
The segment was a fake movie trailer depicting a Quentin Tarantino-style Jesus returning to get revenge. It’s called, “Djesus Uncrossed.”
“Critics are calling it a less violent ‘Passion of the Christ,’” the announcer said. “I never knew how much Jesus used the N-word.”
The trailer featured Jesus and the Apostles gunning down scores of Romans. At one point the Jesus character slices a man’s head in half.

AT&T was giving us a royal screwing for years, as I had their "ultimate" package, but only getting about 1.5MB down after checking it at http://www.speakeasy.net/speedtest/. I discovered it when I signed up for GBTV and the download was too slow. Caused me to look for something better; cut my costs in half and service now is 10 times faster!
We'll see on the powerline device. Past experience hasn't been too great, but maybe they're more reliable now. I need it for a home automation project. The device I'm using only has hardwire capabilities.
Yeah, sounds to me more like they are mocking Tarantino and his non-historical historical movies.
I think that’s a good question. Recent history, however, shows they’re lack of reverence for the Saviour. I would guess they don’t have much criticism for Hollywood, and they’re purpose was a cheap laugh.
Life aboard is pretty good. I’m glad I obeyed my premonition in 2008, for economic reasons alone moving aboard really saved me. Had to go through a fundamental change in lifestyle, but most of the changes were healthy for me and simplified my life.
You do have to love the idea or have a passion for the ocean to do it successfully long term.
Like I said many times: The SNL of today is a showcase for the dregs of comedy. Leftist losers who couldn’t make it in stand-up so Lorne Michaels hires them for his loser leftist show as a refuge from the boos (or booze).
How freakin hard is comedy? Ask yourself that. The stuff writes itself, just follow the news, and they can’t even do that. Today I read in the news Alec Baldwin using racists comments against a Ny Post reporter. How about they do a skit on that? Yeah right. Granted they may have one or two funny skits now and then at the start, but the rest of the show is absolutely beyond pathetic, just a massive cringe-fest, and this is a show that has a ton of writers.
And then they pat each other on the back with awards, like giving Tina Fey the Mark Twain prize for humor immediately after her retarded Sarah Palin act so as to give it credence as if people are suppose to say “Oh she got the Mark Twain prize for humor. I guess she is really really funny..duh.” This is an award given to the likes of Richard Pryor, Bill Cosby, Jonathan Winters George Carlin, Neil Simon as if we are suppose to believe losers like Tina Fey are in that league. To hell with that show. It should have been cancelled 30 years ago.
Jesus will come back someday. And he will be pissed!
You’re right; SNL used to be funny. They weren’t particularly impressed with Al Gore; their parodies of him were almost as bad as the real thing.
At this point I separate people into 2 basic groups; those that “do” things, and those that watch TV. The former is a smaller but more content group; the latter is just waiting to be told what to think, say, and eat (ALL Obama voters are in the second group).
See # 87; it is hard for me to relate to people who regularly watch any TV show put out there nowadays. We used to be divided between those who went to work all day and those whoe watched Oprah/Jerry Springer/etc.; now the people who watch evening TV regularly have joined the Oprah/Springer tyoes in their outlooks and IQs.
Sad commentary on the mindset of Jewish Liberals. As most cowards do, they attack those that will turn the other cheek, exactly what is happening in our international relations with the terrorist nations.
The liberal parasites in Russia, Iran, Venezuela, China, North Korea have detected a great weakness in America and are making us their target in many forms, weapons, computer hacking, hate speech to the “masses” and constant stream of abuse. The apologists, Obama and the Democrat Party have opened us up to this.
I agree with Rush this morning, and this SNL mocking of Christ is only the beginning of their destruction of us, our Constitution and values.
Pray for America.
