Is Your Local Police Department Using Pictures of Pregnant Women and Children for Target Practice?

What if I told you police in your town could desensitize themselves to the idea of shooting a (armed) child, pregnant woman, or young mother, for just a couple of bucks? The "No More Hesitation" series from Law Enforcement Targets Inc. offers exactly that. For less than 99 cents per target, police can shoot at real-life images "designed to give officers the experience of dealing with deadly force shooting scenarios with subjects that are not the norm during training."

Update: The marketing team at Law Enforcement Targets, Inc. sends along this helpful explanation for the "No More Hesitation" series:

"The subjects in NMH targets were chosen in order to give officers the experience of dealing with deadly force shooting scenarios with subjects that are not the norm during training. I found while speaking with officers and trainers in the law enforcement community that there is a hesitation on the part of cops when deadly force is required on subjects with atypical age, frailty or condition (one officer explaining that he enlarged photos of his own kids to use as targets so that he would not be caught off guard with such a drastically new experience while on duty). This hesitation time may be only seconds but that is not acceptable when officers are losing their lives in these same situations. The goal of NMH is to break that stereotype on the range, regardless of how slim the chances are of encountering a real life scenario that involves a child, pregnant woman, etc. If that initial hesitation time can be cut down due to range experience, the officer and community are better served."

Too bad for them they didn’t see the dad in the background bushes with a semi-auto .308!

Infowars has been all over this. They interviewed company officials and LEOs. The targets were custom made to DHS specifications to fill a new DHS order. The LEO and military commentators stated the purpose of the targets was for desensitizing agents.

The company says they’ve taken them “offline” but I bet they’re still filling the contract. I suppose they’ll soon have an SSL product page.

All the situations depict apprehension of unsuspecting, armed civilians. A pregnant woman in a nursery and a elderly woman in a bathrobe in her kitchen? C’mon!ll soon have an SSL product page.

I bet their C.O.P. ( chief of Police) series will be a big seller
to the civilian market too.

The targets are depicting holding real weapons so they are intended to be shot, reducing the inhibitions of cops from shooting children, pregnant women and old people regardless of the unlikelihood of the scenario.

Most of the pictures could be people performing self defense actions. It is probably to train DHS agents doing “No-Knock” raids to shoot anyone who may be daring to defend themselves from an attacker they don;t know is actually a government agent...

Really, the company MADE these due to a request FROM DHS????

This scares the living hell outta me.....!!!

Did anyone else notice the Star of David on the shorts of the Young-Mother-On-Playground target?

Imo these are situational targets for the purpose of desensitizing DHS agents to kill such people should they resist apprehension.

I saw a story from the next township over last night where a cop would have been justified in shooting but didn’t.

Some punk kicked in the door of a house and hit the old man living there in the face with the butt of a shotgun. A cop arrived (by chance) to find the kid in the doorway with the old man on the ground. Apparently the kid hesitated when he was told to drop the gun but changed his mind when the cop told him that he had one chance.

They are planting thoughts in these agents minds just like Hitler and company did towards the Jews.

Their long range plans don’t bode well for Citizens.

This came from Alex Jones at Infowars. Therefore, I would take all these pictures with a very, very large grain of salt...to the point of complete dismissal.

>> For the person that thinks this is a shoot/no-shoot type of poster, wrong.

So where does the layman go to find his NMH posters?

The only one with what appears to be a halfway-decent grip is the old broad on the far right.

The company claims they were made at the request of a “local police department”. Even if I believed that tripe, it wouldn’t make me feel better.

Um..what?

These pictures were ON their official website, along with the description of the cop who used pictures of his own children as targets.

That’s the first I heard of them being for local law enforcement.

Several sources say they were created for a DHS contract.

See Law Enforcement Targets, Inc.. They must have been pretty offensive if you check out their website. Here's their explanation.

Um, Action Targets posted an “apology” on their Facebook page regarding the targets in question. What they said was they took the targets offline, not that they had discontinued selling them or that they pulled back the targets for sale.

I read about it on Brietbart during the Great FR Crash. Not a Jones raving this time.

I consider their “apology” to be a lying attempt at CYA to try to salvage their DHS relationship. They aren’t getting much business from the general public any more, I hope.
