Just miles from the site of the Newtown school massacre, Vice President Joe Biden warned Thursday that US politicians would pay a price if they refuse to back measures to stem gun violence.
Biden said in Danbury, Connecticut that there had been a change in American politics which made it less risky for lawmakers to back the kind of legislation the White House is pushing Congress to pass.
"What I say to my colleagues who will watch this and listen to this, I say to you if you're concerned about your political survival, you should be concerned about the survival of our children," Biden said.
"And guess what? I believe the price to be paid politically will be to those who refuse to act, who refuse to step forward, because America has changed on this issue," Biden said.
"You should all know the American people are with us. You should all know there's a moral price to be paid for inaction," Biden said, around 10 miles (16 kilometers) from Newtown.

Biden openly calls on lawmakers to ignore the citizens who elected them.
More importantly, Biteme has called on lawmakers to ignore or abandon the Constitution.
Biden might have our lawmakers by the family jewels.
But he does not own me and mine. If the lawmaker I helped send to congress fails the constitution, his jewels need not fear Biden.........

What does Gun Control have to do with “stemming gun violence”?
Violent people use whatever tools they can get their hands on to commit their crimes. The only defense against them is an equal or greater use of force using whatever tool is required to deter the Criminal.
Remember what Odumbo said to his Supporters regarding his Political opponents, “they bring a knife, you bring a gun”.
Biden is 180 out and everybody knows it; even slow Joe.

It is good for our side every time Crazy Joe opens his mouth. His spouts such stupid nonsense that even the Marxists blush. His recent rant about getting a shot gun instead of an AR-15 shows that, not only is he completely ignorant about firearms, his advice to his wife is criminally negligent also. In a just society, Biden would have been declared the village idiot and assigned some menial tasks like cleaning porta-potties at a county park just to give him something useful to do.
A call for national prayer and repentance. Protection for the unborn. Support for two (opposite gendered)parent families. Finally realizining that pornogrophy is not a first ammendment issue. Allowing prayer in schools.
There of lots of non legislative measures to pursue.
Why do the cowardly Democrats always punish the innocent? What are they proposing to keep guns out of hands of criminals? Or, is it too easy, to take away the guns of law abiding taxpayers? And then pretend that the "problem" is solved?
I pray that Joe Biden and his Democrat colleagues are given the ability to connect the dots, and take responsible actions to keep guns away from criminals, while respecting the second amendment.
