You forgot the coffee bar, widescreen TV...and what I call the Yanni hymnal (almost hypnotic in notes and words, and BORING - give me that old time music).
Just silly stuff.
Also the difference in attentiveness and respect for the pastor and the Word. In the traditional every one is heads up listening. In the contemporary at least a third, if not half, of the attendees are on the phones texting, posting to fb, surfing, or playing that scrabble game. I haven’t seen anyone with earbuds in but I am sure it is coming. Funny how contemporary has up to twice the numbers on any given Sunday.
