A number of African-American leaders joined together Friday to challenge the gun control proposals currently being considered on Capitol Hill, claiming gun control laws are inherently racist. “There’s a direct correlation between gun control and black people control,” Stacy Swimp, president and CFO of the Frederick Douglass Society, said at the event at the press conference sponsored by the Center for Urban Renewal and Education (C.U.R.E). Swimp compared the call for universal background checks for gun purchase to the time when blacks were required to register with the government.
“The first gun laws were put into place to register black folks, to make sure that they would know who we were – that we could not defend ourselves,” Swimp said.
“I think if you look right after the Emancipation Proclamation – what was going on down in the southern states, it’s very clear that the Dixiecrats wanted to disarm black people to keep us from defending ourselves against the Klansman, who were murdering white and black Republicans to control the ballot box,” Swimp said.
Niger Ennis, President of CORE, Congress for Racial Equality, one of the oldest civil rights organizations in the country, agreed that “gun control has ultimately been about people control.”
Speakers of the event praised the National Rifle association, explaining the organizations contribution to Civil Rights.
“The National Rifle Association was founded by religious leaders who wanted to protect freed slaves from the Ku Klux Klan” said Harry Alford, the president of the Black Chamber of Commerce. Many of us probably wouldn't be here today if it wasn't for the NRA."

Uh...no. Initially, the purpose of the NRA was to provide citizens with instruction on firearm use, safety, and markmanship.
It’s about Friggin time that we have a message that can link the commies to Gun Control, at the same time loop a rope around their neck, about Plantation Politics..
Where have we been? If one of us would have said this it would have worked against us, but now we are at arms length to pull that rope and hang two of the most contentious issues that face race relations today.. This puts the Demon-crats control of the Blacks, once again by political means, at their feet.. Handled correctly, this is the best news I’ve seen in years..

Don’t take this wrong, I want you to see this in a much different light, GUN CONTROL, is a continuing effort to control the Black Plantation by keeping them from protecting themselves against the criminal element that kills mostly Blacks, and that the rest of us are already arming ourselves against..
The entire poverty issue, and the Welfare State, that keeps the Black race too poor to raise themselves above water is pure politics, and a continuing effort to hold them down.. With Gun Control, the Democrats now are exposed, and once again are imposing Jim Crow laws, where the Black commmunity are being kept defenseless to protect themselves against the resulting by-product, of that strategy..

I did not know that history and origin of "gun control," and in that respect only, gun control is black-people-control. The difference is that in present-day-America, the goal has been expanded to CONTROL all Americans, not just blacks and/or minorities.

A conference was held Friday, Feb. 23, that focused the continuing effort of the Democrats to control the debate about Gun Control as a continuing agenda to control the entire Black community in their effort to control Plantation Politics..

As usual, it will be silenced and withheld from the Mainstream News, and avoided by press coverage.. Further, a white spokesman cannot carry this message, or be branded a racist, as the left controls the dialog where race is concerned..
I see this as a continuation of the Dixiecrat agenda, that hasn’t changed since the Civil War, only re-branded the message to further divide our country by color, and economics.. Keep the Blacks on the welfare plantation. and defenseless against the by-product of that agenda that spun out of economic frustration.. Poverty is a corrosive, and insidious method of control, but control nonetheless...
Once again, you may be the only man to pick up this message, and amplify the concern to draw the comparison to the Newest Jim Crow Laws, Gun Control.. The Black on Black crime is at the heart of this debate, the blacks will once again be prevented from protecting themselves against the violence that the welfare state has created...
