... a second major winter storm in less than a week hits the central Plains.
The National Service says today's storm, which has been tracking across western Texas toward Oklahoma, Kansas and Missouri, also is packing high winds

It's the first rite of spring, actually. It never changes, all one has to do is be patient.
Yep, the so called tulip crushers.
Yup. Seventy percent of the way through winter and we have a winter storm. Who would have thunk it?
I had a child on April 7th, 1957, in Minneapolis, Mn. The next day we had a blizzard.
A few weeks ago, when Boston got hit, the CNN weatherman stated that this was because there was no ice at the north pole, which pushed the jetstream south and caused the storm.
Junk science in five different directions at once.
As I sit here in Kansas and fill out my time card with all the missed time from last week, I am pondering spending the night at the office for this one. On the bright side, this will help the drought...which was also caused by global warming of course.
I’m still recovering from Thursday when I ended up driving the wrong way on a freeway in the white out. I got most of the way home but had to walk the last two blocks. (I live on the highest point in Johnson County KS - not a fancy neighborhood, just on a hill). I have to go out this morning but the meeting tonight is totally optional.
Global warming is a hoax
for decades Governments all over the world spent trillion$ of dollars to fund this hoax called global warming. this shows socialism/government does not work
The news media spent many trillion$ worth in fake ads to brainwash the public into believing in the global warming hoax
Hmmm... so, you having a child today?
It sux. I love the nature shows but they can’t help but narrate globull warming into them.
I’m rooting for the storm and hope for another one before St. Paddy’s day. We need about 8 inches (of precip, not just snow) to catch up on moisture.
2008: You see I told you, the warm weather winter proves global warming is true just like our computer models said it would
2009: The cool winter is weather not climate
2010: The cold winter is weather not climate
2011: That settles it, the cold winter proves global warming is causing global cooling just like our computer models said it would
2012: You see, I told you, the warm winter proves global warming is true just like our computer models said it would
2013: The warm January and cold snowy February prove global warming is causing extremes, just like our computer models said it would
2014: What ever happens will prove global warming is true just like our computer models said it would
Didn't you know the new meme? Global warming causes warmer weather AND it also causes colder, more snowy weather.
I listened to a local newsreader explain this -very seriously - the other night. Sometimes I wonder if people think about what's coming out of their mouths.
Daddy? At long last, I've found you!
The US Drought Moniter page is really bad looking for about
2/3 of the USA right now.
I found this to be a great resource.

The JET STREAM MAP
Global warming is piling it up alright, but it’s not snow that needs shoveling.
Hmmm... so, you having a child today?
No, but I will be a great-granny in September.
Tell Al Bore to get his fat, lying, butt out there and shovel.
