Yep. The traditional, customary, obligatory late winter storm is here right on time. That's not to say that we can't get another one between now and Saint Patrick's day, of course.

It's the first rite of spring, actually. It never changes, all one has to do is be patient.

A few weeks ago, when Boston got hit, the CNN weatherman stated that this was because there was no ice at the north pole, which pushed the jetstream south and caused the storm.

Junk science in five different directions at once.

As I sit here in Kansas and fill out my time card with all the missed time from last week, I am pondering spending the night at the office for this one. On the bright side, this will help the drought...which was also caused by global warming of course.

I’m still recovering from Thursday when I ended up driving the wrong way on a freeway in the white out. I got most of the way home but had to walk the last two blocks. (I live on the highest point in Johnson County KS - not a fancy neighborhood, just on a hill). I have to go out this morning but the meeting tonight is totally optional.
