Magpul Industries Corp. Facebook Announcement
Magpul Industries Inc. Facebook Page ^ | 2/26/13 | Magpul

Posted on 02/26/2013 6:39:44 PM PST by kitchen

We are proud to announce that within a matter of days we will be going live with a new program. Due to a bill currently moving through the Colorado legislature, there is the possibility that Colorado residents' ability to purchase standard capacity magazines will soon be infringed. Before that happens, and Magpul is forced to leave the state in order to keep to our principles, we will be doing our... best to get standard capacity PMAGs into the hands of any Colorado resident that wants them.

Verified Colorado residents will be able to purchase up to ten (10) standard capacity AR/M4 magazines directly from Magpul, and will be given immediate flat-rate $5 shipping, bypassing our current order queue.

Our customers outside of Colorado, please know that our PMAG production will continue at an ever-increasing rate until we do relocate, shipments to our distributors in other states will continue, and that we do not expect relocation to significantly impact PMAG production. We are also aware that Colorado is not the only state with existing or pending magazine capacity restrictions; we are working on programs for other affected states as well.

Full details and instructions will be announced when we are able to go live; please watch here for the coming announcement.

I will probably take them up on this offer. I have enough mags to cover the basics, but if the offer is too good to pass up...

If they go to Texas or better yet Arizona who knows, I might even relocate too.

...are they going to set up roadblocks at the Wyoming (and other)state lines to keep Coloradoans from importing large capacity magazines? Will they actually undertake inspections?

What if I take my AR-15 up to Wyoming, then come back into the State? Do I have to prove I had the mags on the way up, pre-ban? What if my son is coming down out of Wyoming for some target practice with me and brings his mags?

No possible way, absolutely none, of enforcing this. Have you seen the Rocky mountains and the borderlands between Colorado and its neighboring States? The ban would be utterly meaningless and impossible to enforce.

Have that many people from California moved to Colorado? I always thought of Colorado people as down to earth, rock solid, not a bunch of gun grabbing nuts.

The silliness of all this just struck me.

LoL.

Colorado is surrounded by Utah, Wyoming, Arizona, Oklahoma, New Mexico, and Kansas that the standard capacity magazines will still be available.

Silliness indeed.

Have that many people from California moved to Colorado?

Since 1980, Colorado has almost doubled in size from 2.8 million to almost 5 million. You could say about 1 million or more Kommiefornians have moved to CO.

Oh I forgot to mention Nebraska. ;^)

They should be expediating the sales of higher caps than that to the residents of CO, CT and other states that are about to go over the edge.

I would say that that would give the residents a one-up in values, but I think these people will be the first to physically say “No.” They need our support. I have already offered my out-of-state support to these people wherever I can.

Hope they are seriously thinking about moving to Texas. Bringing new meaning to GTT (Gone to Texas).

I read that Wyoming was the favored move, due to the proximity of that state line to the current facility and the employees' homes. It would keep more of their current staff on the payroll, which is certainly laudable.

But hey, ya never know. If the Texas offer was serious, it probably included a temporary employee housing package. We shall see.

“My advice is: a Ruger 10-22. It’s an absolutely essential, gots to have, no household should be without one, rifle.”

I managed to find a Ruger 10-22 about a month ago by searching every day. And, if you haven't read it yet, it is PINK. I found a 25 cartridge magazine for it before I found the rifle. Then, had to search every day until I found CCI Mini Mag HP for one day on CheaperThanDirt. I'm glad I have it all together now. If a bad guy comes in my house, he'll see a PINK rifle looking at him and then he won't see anything after that. I consider that my assault rifle because a bullet comes out every time I pull the trigger and can pull it 25 times before it quits.

“Where are you going to find CCI Stinger ammo at this point?”

I have a list of every company that sells ammo in my favorites list and check them every day. That’s how I found the CCI Stingers one day about three weeks ago or less at CheaperThanDirt. They had them, I ordered them, and the next evening there were none left to buy.

My company sent me from San Diego to Denver from Jan 2000 to March 2000. I saw enough to cross Colorado off my list of alternatives. I chose the Pocatello, ID area. No regrets thus far aside from having to be exiled from my family to pay the bills since June 2009. The work I could do from my home office evaporated within 3 days of Obama taking office in 2009. The exile may end with another Obama screwup a.k.a sequestration. It may cost my job, but I'll see my wife for more than a few days around a holiday.

I reccomend the Marlin 795. They rock and the company is patriot friendly.

I’ll take a Marlin 795 over it. Cheaper and more accurate. I’ve seen them both on the line as an appleseed intsructor.

I’ve got a Circuit Judge too. What a hoot to fire those big .45s and watch what damage they will do.

I just need a real live target to break into my house one night to see just how damaging they are.

As far as a cheap ammo to use that has some real killing power, use .22 magnums.

First, I really need to inventory all the stuff I acquired during the bent one's administration, but I will be taking every advantage of this offer to build up the stores.

Now if IMI would step up and divert all foreign SS109 shipments to Colorado...
