A blowout!
Can’t understand why...
Has anyone else noticed that Ruger has been far more gun rights friendly in the last year or two?
Was in a Cabela’s last week (closest store to the Ruger Factory, as it stands)... the counter was MOBBED. When I finally got to the sales clerk he ‘discovered’ a new Ruger (L380... a 380 in their L9 frame) and he was quite thrilled about it.
According to the clerks the new Ruger (and many of their other models) are flying out of the stores.
The L380 might be my next...! and I only live a few miles from the factory
I think their only problem was Bill Ruger and his refusal to produce standard capacity 30 rd mags for Mini 14s and 30s. He has passed on and they have been making them for a while.
It’s hard to find a Ruger 10/22 or mini-30 anywhere at the local retailers. I’m eying a SR-22 threaded barrel in my future.
I have the LCP and the LC9. Unless you have huge hands you can shoot the LCP very well. The LC380 is less power with higher ammo cost than the 9mm version. Just my 2¢. Try them all and get what you like.
I have an SR9C that I use for concealed carry. It is my favorite pistol of all that I have ever owned. It has a great trigger. low recoil, and shoots like a dream.
Good for Ruger.
Now if they could make the ammo needed for these arms, everyone would have a smile on his face.
That’s the problem... the LC380 only feels comfortable with the extended grip. LCP just too small. I’ll give the LC9 a look-see!
I have a picture of a my LCP in the hand of a friend who is pro lineman size. One finger covered the grip, and he could hardly get one in the trigger guard! I have very small hands and the LC9 fits my hand like a 1911 fits his.
Bill Ruger died and his gun-control crap died with him.
I love my SR40/Viridian Green Dot Laser.
Do you have problems WITH your LC9 failing to eject?
No problems ejecting even when new. I have used all kinds of ammo with no malfunctions. I did have a problem with the bolt not locking open on last shot. The spring in the original mag was soft.
