Future primitive: America parallels South Africa

Exclusive: Erik Rush sees chilling prescience in Ilana Mercer's 'Into the Cannibal's Pot'

One of the most distressing things I encounter on a regular basis from Americans is the belief that it can’t happen here and that scenarios representing incomprehensibly radical, dystopian transformations of our society are not only preposterous, but the product of delusional minds. More often than not, when I speak of such things I am referencing the fundamental transformation of America President Obama and his Marxist co-conspirators are foisting upon us.

To those for whom such things as the Holocaust and the Killing Fields are too far removed or farfetched, I would point to the tragic example of South Africa, the dynamics of which are covered in masterful detail by author and WND columnist Ilana Mercer in her book “Into the Cannibal’s Pot: Lessons for America From Post-Apartheid South Africa.” She was born in South Africa; her family left there in the 1960s, but she returned in the 1980s.

While Ilana and her family were staunch and active opponents of the policy of apartheid in South Africa, she has vigorously addressed the rapid societal decline and atrocities that have transpired therein since the end of minority white governance in 1994.

“When South Africa was governed by a racist white minority, it was scorned by the West. … Now that a racist, black-majority government controls the country … it is the toast of the West.”

– “Into the Cannibal’s Pot,” from the Introduction

As related in the book, since the inception of black rule under the African National Congress, South Africa has become one of the most violent countries in the world and has been compared to nations such as Iraq and Colombia in that respect. “Cannibal’s Pot” describes a South Africa that is a cross between

Yes, and the liberal delusion is that they, each and collectively, hold the whole world in their heads. In a way, they do, in the form of liberal hegemony, and it is reflected in their language of "should" and "shouldn't". "We should be able to do that." They shouldn't be allowed to do that." Each one is the voice of God. They can't get outside their own heads, but indeed, "The Truth is out there."

The so called White racists which ran South Africa [ Werner Eiselen who developed Separate Development in a futile attempt at replacing the Apartheid of the British & early South African governments was actually not racist. ] had nothing on the current Black racists in control. Though I would suggest that there are no such thing as White or Black South Africans as those are deracinated Western based terms. The people of Southern Africa should be viewed in context of ethnic group not one dimensional racial group.

Obama intends to take the US down to pay for his perception of past sins. He will gladly celebrate the US turning into South Africa or Zimbabwe while he sits in a walled gilded palace on a throne of his self deluded moral superiority. If millions die for the cause, well that is only the just price for a remade world.

Don’t Cry for me America

In the early 20th century, Argentina was one of the richest countries in the world. While Great Britain’s maritime power and its far-flung empire had propelled it to a dominant position among the world’s industrialized nations, only the United States challenged Argentina for the position of the world’s second-most powerful economy.

Among Irigoyen’s changes: mandatory pension insurance, mandatory health insurance, and support for low-income housing construction to stimulate the economy. Put simply, the state assumed economic control of a vast swath of the country’s operations and began assessing new payroll taxes to fund its efforts.

Since Americans are by and large normalcy-biased, it would take a foreigner to do it. I think b*r*ck ob*m* is just the man for the job.

The big difference in the two countries is that in SA the majority is black and most were clueless on how things operated.

When the blacks took over the country started it’s downhill slide. There should have been an orderly transition but it did not happen.

I have both black and white SA friends. So I got stories from both sides. All my friends grew up under Apartheid.
