China enslaving the world: Beijing's ruthless leaders subjugate armies of foreign workers

Beijing-- plundering resources across the globe - and now they've got Britain in their sights

China's progress has entered its second phase - entry into Western markets Ongoing financial crisis in the West has opened more doors to the East

To stay there will cost you £2,000 a night. Just to have dinner means parting with a huge deposit per person before you even get to the table.

Who can afford to stay there? Increasingly, the answer is the world’s fast-growing army of multi-millionaires from China.

Three years ago, the Chinese comprised just four per cent of the hotel’s guests. Now they make up almost a third. Not so long ago, one party from Beijing booked 50 rooms.

Just as critical to China’s unstoppable expansion — the ‘Chinese miracle’, as it is known — is invariably poverty, corruption and exploitation, according to China’s Silent Army, a chilling new book by Spanish journalists Juan Pablo Cardenal and Heriberto Araujo.

China's businessmen are rarely troubled by conscience or consequence

They travelled in secret to many of the world’s poorest and most backward places, in Africa, Asia and South America. There, they discovered how Chinese companies, backed by state-run banks with unlimited resources, are buying up oil, minerals, precious metals and timber to fuel the economic miracle back home — leaving those countries raped of their natural resources.

Their usual trick is to offer ‘infrastructure’ in return — a few motorways, perhaps a magnificent national football stadium, smart homes for the elite — but leave the bulk of those countries untouched, their people as poor as ever.

In an act of colonialism much more oppressive and widespread than anything the British Empire was accused of, China is subjugating vast tracts of the globe to its economic dominance, and giving virtually nothing back.

Yet China has its own “debt bomb” to contend with.

The Chinese are smart. In contrast we waste big $$$ and lives in places like Iraq (where is our oil from there?) and crapholes like Afghanistan and then leave them behind anyway. This is why we need immigration reform to get more fodder.

And there is nothing worth having in Afganistan anyway, its just an poor Islamic .....-hole.

Chinese make money, we throw it away. I dont see any news reports of Chinese losing their legs to IEDs in Africa.

Yep...The Chinese debt bomb is rarely mentioned. It is real and hanging over them worse every day.

I think the entire world’s debt and monetary mess is a house of cards about to fall. I’m afraid things are going to get very, very ugly.

Time is now to prepare for your own situation and family. If you haven’t gotten the basics (food/water/needed drugs) for at least 6 months....well, you might want to think on it.

If you live in an “urban” area? Good luck. The food supply will dry up within 2-3 days...and unfortunately, we are not like the Japanese who handled their recent horrific crisis with politeness. “Urban” areas are going to be like Escape from New York on crack. I’d have a plan to vacate if something “big” happens.

I’ll give the Chinese their due. How soon before the offer incentives to married Chinese who are willing to settle in Africa and run a colonial operation. Such as fracking in Zimbabwe and getting bargain basement natural gas?

Incentives to married Chinese would be they could have as much as five children

reminds me of the Star Trek Next Generation episode with the Crystalline Entity which traveled from planet to planet sucking all life off the surface.

I’m a ancient tree hugger. If it’s over 200 yrs old, let it live and take the kids. Plus those who cut, must plant. The New England maple trees were planted after deforestation. LOVE real maple syrup.

Hey Pinko! Not supporting the transfer of US manufacturing and industry to Red China and the expansion of their economic dominance over the US and the World is just plain un-American. You don't support Communist China. What are you, some kind of Commie?

China has millions of surplus bachelors from the one child policy. For these young men, it could be an opportunity to go to these developing nations in a management positions or technical position (high on the food chain) and permission to marry and have two or three legal children. China exports its bachelors and gets tighter control of the resources they are buying like farm land while preventing discontent at home.

I have despised our version of free trade and running huge trade deficits for 20+ years. This plus open borders to the 3rd world invasion are major factors in American decline. Along with drugs and abortion and the decline in religious institutions
