The Chicago Tribune published a tough editorial on Obamas sequestration theatrics on Wednesday, which began with a weary sigh: Another day, another outcry from President Barack Obama this one in Newport News, Va. about the parade of horribles that will arrive Friday when automatic federal spending cuts begin: air travel delays, weaker law enforcement, less money for defense contractors.
The Trib isnt super happy with the Republicans either, as the sharp sting of acrimony between both the President and his strident foes in Congress burns their editorial nostrils. Theyre not looking forward to a long future of austerity squabbles if Washington doesnt get its house in order and thats going to mean cutting a hell of a lot more than the $85 billion so bitterly contested to date...

The Democrats can yammer all they want, but if they wanted to stop the sequester, they would. They are just putting on a show for the Democrat voters.
Which goes to show that the Democrats aren’t Marxists. They’re just thieves.
The Kenyan Times?
Obama squawking and doomsaying over cutting $85 billion is like Warren Buffett frantically spending all day looking for a lost penny. Ridiculous.
As near as I can tell, the Obama excuse machine is a 24/7 operation. Fortunately for them, it has a very simple operating system. When the operator inputs code “01”, the machine outputs “blame Bush”. When the operator inputs code “02”, the machine outputs “blame the Republicans”.
I would love it if some hacker worked his/her way into that machine and changed the codes so that code “01” would now mean “blame Obama”, and code “02” would now mean “Obama and the Democrat Party are responsible for this”!
Oh, well, one can dream, can’t one?
Obama’s hometown? Nairobi?
I thought Soetoro grew up in Indonesia?
Or was it Hawaii?
Never saw a man with so many 'hometowns' before.
The Democrats want the sequester. They know the economy is slowing and they want to blame the Republicans and sequester for it. This is their plan to try to take back the House next year.
Heh, I saw the thread title and was interested in what the Kenyan Kronicle had to say.
