IMHO, I think the source has an excellent video.
BTW, I think Chuck U wants to kill it. He was behind the effort to recruit "moderate" rats the to the Senate in 2006 and 2008. Chuck U likes power even more than gun grabbing.

Every delay gets us more time to apply pressure.

Senators postponed consideration of legislation limiting gun violence... Senators aren't God. They can't pass legislation that limits gun violence.
They can only pass legislation that takes guns out of the hands of law-abiding citizens.
The people most likely to commit "gun violence" will still have theirs.

Guns and SUVs are able to commit violence on their own.

“...legislation limiting gun violence...”
That’s a hot one; count on The Washington Post to choose the most biased phrasing possible.

"Senators postponed consideration of legislation limiting gun violence
the freedom of law-abiding citizens who never committed a crime for at least a week "There, fixed it...

Sen. Charles E. Grassley (Iowa), listed several specific concerns with the bills. He said the assault weapons ban raises a lot of constitutional questions The major question is whether it is fair for the government to have superior weaponry when confronting a disagreeing populace. Occasionally David will get lucky when he is up against Goliath, however, in the meantime, a lot more Davids will die than Goliaths.

I can’t believe that a national registry is the only sticking point. I know Coburn is useless, but this just doesn’t make since.

translation, dems don't have the votes so they are going to re-write the bill to see if they can attrack enough votes.... Republicans should not even discuss this and let the dems eat their own. That is what the Dems are doing to the Republicans..... I don't think the dems can get enough votes from dems.
