MORELOS, Mexico A 13-year-old Mexican drug cartel hitman was found dead along with five other people.
Univision reports that Jorge Armando Morenos body showed signs of torture when he was found near the town of Morelos.
Moreno who was a member of the Los Zetas gang was arrested earlier this month, along with 15 other suspects, and confessed to taking part in 10 executions.
He was released into his familys custody because he was too young to be criminally prosecuted. Zacatecas state law says no one under the age of 14 can be subject to criminal prosecution.

Earlier this week, a group of armed men broke into a prison and freed 12 prisoners in the state of Tamaulipas on the border with Texas.

Mexico has suffered a series of prison breaks in recent years. One of the largest, the flight of 131 in the state of Coahuila in September, was blamed on the Zetas cartel, which also controls much of Tamaulipas.

Can’t say this is any great loss. If he continued to live, he probably would have murdered many more.
A 13 year old hitman? Shades of Colombia in the 1980s.
But hey, we don’t need to secure the border or anything.
The real world doesn't care if you're a "juvenile."
A 13 yr old can’t be prosecuted for committing murder in Mexico, but a 13 yr. old hitmen can definitely be tortured and killed.
What a horrible country.
Even for murder?!
Something's got to change.
Ohhhhhhh poooor little Jorge who took part in 10 executions himself. Pooooor baby.. I’m devastated (sniffle sniffle) /s I hope maggots are feasting upon his body at this very moment.
Too bad BO and Big Sis didn’t let this kid take them to one of the gatherings of the Zetas or a guided tour of his neighborhood. They think everything is so peaceful and wonderful there.
“But hey, we dont need to secure the border or anything.”
BUMP
I hear in some countries kids are forced to be hitmen because they can’t be charged as adults
They frequently break into prisons.?! Hmmm.
That gives me an idea....
Bad career choice.
I understand your reaction as it was initially mine as well. I'm not sorry the kid is dead in the broad sense. But it does stir my soul that a 13 year old boy had been coerced, forced, trained, etc. to be a brutal killer. He didn't turn 12 and decide, I want to murder people for the rest of my life. Think about a 13 year old you know. What a sickening dillema.
Pretty common in US gangs, but I don't know how much they are being forced. I think they're young, stupid and want to be in the gang.
live hard...die hard
It's true.
By the time a kid is a 13-year-old hit man, he has no future. To think that such a kid can be redeemed is a forlorn hope. At that point, society as a whole is probably better off with the hit man dead.
But the fact that a 13-year-old kid was coerced, manipulated, misguided, whatever, into this. THAT is a crying shame.
Or run for office as a progressive liberal.
I’m sure he was beginning to turn his life around
