Serious prayers for her speedy recovery!
The very thought of Charles.....
The Queen is only 87? I thought that old lizard was about 150.
Typical stupid, Liberal remark...
I wonder what your family thinks of you???
Elizabeth is one hardworking, amazing woman.
God bless her, and may she get well soon.
Yes, the thought of two jug-eared wankers on the left and right sides of the Atlantic is depressing.
I oppose all things ‘Royalty’. We left that back in 1776 and I say good riddance to it(the small part of my British Isles background being RC Irish).
I agree with you though as I do not think it was right to denigrate her because of her age.
I would however hate to see Charles take any power. His son seems much less of a fop or as Python put it, upper class twit.

Yes, you got that right! Either she has to outlive him, or she has to abdicate in favor of her grandson, Prince William.

Most definitaly.
She has done wonders for the crown’s image,Queen Mary educated her well.

You thought about Charles...?
:)
Don’t think Charles is eligible to be King now, divorced, married a divorced woman.
I believe it will be William & Kate next.
Excuse me one moment whilst i prepare an appropriate response to that comment....
Gastroenteritis is a generic term used when doctors don’t know what’s wrong or they don’t want to say.
Best wishes for Her Majesty’s recovery. I’m hoping it isn’t something serious.
jespasinthru?
Why don’t you keep on moving on to DU?
It’s like looking in a mirror, innit? sd

William can't be next; it would require a change to the British constitution for Charles to be passed over. The Anglican church would have a problem if Charles' ex-spouse was alive, and they might still have one, since Camilla is divorced and her ex is living. But she'll never be queen for that reason.
I read a bio of Elizabeth last summer....tradition means quite a lot to her, and she would never dream of passing Charles over in favor of William.
Tell that to Henry VIII. Actually, since he divorced an adulteress, and she conveniently died before he remarried, it shouldn't be a problem.
It’s quite interesting to me how some people have such strong opinions about others they don’t know. Even more odd that they swallow unquestioningly what they read in the media.

Maybe she is hoping to outlive her moronic son....
Very true
Actually, that’s just a cover story for her being in hiding from the International Common Law Court of Justice!/s
