Gun Guys - This Week on Gun Talk Radio

Mandeville, LA – It’s the NRA, a new gun book, a County Sheriff, and more, this week on Tom Gresham's Gun Talk® Radio, the original nationally-syndicated radio talk show about guns and the shooting sports.

NRA CEO Wayne LaPierre drops by to talk with Tom about the latest legislative actions across the nation, and the monstrous surge in NRA memberships. Find out more at http://www.nraila.org/.

Author Dan Baum drove 15,000 miles to gather stories for his latest book Gun Guys: A Road Trip, and drops in Sunday to discuss it. From a hog hunt in Texas to a machine-gun shoot in the desert, Baum crossed the nation to explore “from the inside the American love affair with firearms”. Pre-order it at http://amzn.to/145KQIQ. Baum also recently wrote an article discussing irresponsible gun owners – and how to combat the problem: http://on.wsj.com/Z3PUMc.

Also on Sunday, Sheriff Ken Campbell, of the Boone County Sheriff’s Office in Indiana, drops by to discuss current legislation, and more. Campbell recently took part in a video discussing the truth about “high-capacity” magazines. The nonpartisan organization Defense Small Arms Advisory Council came up with the idea, and worked with Armalite to fund the project. Read more about it, and watch the video, here: http://bit.ly/12etiyG.

When I drove past the location of a local gun show yesterday, I noticed that the cars extended farther out than I have ever seen in my life.

I decided against going. One...There was nothing I REALLY had to have, and two...I didn't feel like getting in the middle of a cattle drive!

Yeah, The local fellow just redid his parking lot, but I told him the other day he needs to make it bigger, because every time I go out there lately you have to park on the street!

Everybody must be watching "The Bible" on History channel tonight.

I want to watch it too, but I bet that is a story that get's told again. ☺

I’m rarely able to stay up late enough any more to watch anything that’s considered to be in prime time, lol. Don’t have a DVR, and I never have been able to figure out how to wire my VCR up to record, what with the roughly 30,000 wires back there behind the entertainment center!

Yeah, some folks tell me I'm a little technologically challenged too.

Welcome to my world LOL
I can understand the technology but stuff is just too tiny to be useful to me.

Recently I had convinced myself to order one of those neat holsters from SneakyPete Holsters. When I selected my Kel-Tec .380, their web site no longer listed them offering a holster for use with an extended "pinky" magazine, which is what I use.

I e-mailed and asked them about it, and they said they had encountered some "fit" issues making that specific one, and had pulled it from their product offering until they get it resolved. They still offer it that way for the Ruger LCP, which is very similar, but not for mine. Just my luck!
