Is Sheila a common name in India?
Snicker. Just snicker, that’s all...
I thought the article/title was talking about Sheila JACKSON Lee, lol...
Ping to ya
Dikshit ? You’re doing it wrong.
My daughter once had a girl from Indonesia in her class at school whose last name as given on the class list was Shithead.
When she read out the names to check attendance on the first day, she paused before pronouncing it, then asked the girl how it was pronounced.
It turns out that it is a common name, pronounced Shi-theed. An awkward moment was avoided.
the subsidised cylinders even the non subsidised ones will be available
WTH, are cylinders.
In the fifth paragraph it is “Dikhsit” but reverts back to
“Dikshit” later. In college I recall a Dr Richard Head in
the Phys Ed dept, I believe.

The Dikshit family is considered rather nerdy and non intelligent in their native country.
When the family immigrated to the US; the immigration officer accidentally changed the the “k” to a “p”.
Wow, just wow.
Australians use “Sheila” as a common generic name for a girl, like “bloke” for a guy.
The surname is, however uniquely Indian and not uncommon I am told.
oh my
Are we all pretty much agreed that our first thought was, ‘Sheila Jackson Lee at a Broadway play ‘Hello Dehli’ and WTF?
Shame on me!
I don’t understand the black flag part. Unless it was muslims holding the black flag.
The black flag means war
Reminds me of a joke...
Guy walks into the courthouse and tells the clerk, “I want to change my name.”
The clerk asks why.
“Because it is embarrassing,” the guy replies.
The clerk says, “OK, what is your name?”
“Barack Hussein Dikshit,” the man replies.
“Wow. That is embarrassing,” the clerk replies. “What would you like your new name to be?”
“George Dikshit”, the man says.
