Boehner: I won’t make practice of passing bills without GOP support
The Hill ^ | 3/5/2013 | Russell Berman

Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) said on Tuesday he doesn’t plan to make a habit of passing bills through the House that lack the support of a Republican majority.

“It’s not a practice I would expect to continue long-term,” Boehner told reporters after a closed-door GOP Conference meeting.

. His comments come days after Democrats carried legislation through the House for the third time in the last two months.

I know we at FR know that Boehner words here are worthless and that he probably will continue to even more work with the Democrats. Just hoping that calling out how pathetic his leadership is, how worthless these words are, how he is representing everything the Tea Party patriot movement is fighting against, will hopefully mobilize some true conservative reps in DC to open voice their disdain loudly and clearly.

The question should be: Why did he ever do this before?

The bad news is that he is Speaker of the House; the worse news is that he is doing everything possible to insure that Puglousi is the next Speaker of the House.

In other words, little johnny boner won't do anything without the approval of his GOPe masters? Maybe he should go to the hospital and have himself tested for the presence of testosterone in his system. I bet it would come back negative, and this would make him sad, and probably cry.

He’s already ‘made a habit’ of doing that, passing bills with Dem votes because he cant get a GOP majority..
Sounds like he realizes how weak it makes him look, he and the party.

A good question I thought up weeks ago:
“Is their any bill Reid could send you that you wouldnt put up for a vote?”

Since it’s a forgone conclusion that John will do whatever best serves liberalism, not his Conservative voter base or even the public at large, perhaps we the people should stop supporting his party’s rush to the left with our cash, our verbal/posting support and our votes.

Or perhaps we should STFU and take it in stoic silence. Because those are the real options concerning the situation we are in. Period.

Because it is getting pretty tiring watching this circus when John rushes out to the podium to lie to us and we then collectively vote for him and those like him. It is no different than the Blacks we mock for serving their Dem plantation masters.

Wrong. He has already said he will pass the Senate Amnesty bill with or without GOP support. Don't be fooled.

so maybe bonehead finally seeing how the news media is manipulating the public and him to fall for Obama’s socialistic policies

next manufactured crisis of the news media is the government shutdown . shut all of that peice of crap down . twitter republicans not to cave on that. shut government down. government and the media are the only 2 real problems we have ( well that and old age but the free market will find the fountain of youth too just you wait and see )

Should’ve recognized my comment as being “tongue-in-cheek”.

Bony, as so many GOPers, is an invertebrate.

I’m done with Boehner.

We have a House majority yet _clearly_ it makes not one wit of difference. This I’m convinced is because House leadership is a farce. The whole GOP is beginning to look like a farce.

Yes, there are a few good congressmen; and a few good GOP members. The rest are rotten, medicated, bought, lost or outright enemies of the republic.

I said this after the FIRST time they did this:

The Dems have ENOUGH votes in the House, that when combined with the *moderate* (ie: Super RINO) Republicans... they can pass ANYTHING!

The ONLY protection we have against this is: The Speaker gets to decide what bills are brought up for votes. If our Speaker is a RINO, we’re in BIG trouble.

Boner MUST be voted out... and, a real conservative put in... NOW. Before more damage is done.
