Dirty oil? What is oil from Muslimville clean or something Waxman?
“We don’t need this dirty oil. To stop climate change and the destructive storms, droughts, floods, and wildfires that we are already experiencing, we should be investing in clean energy, not building a pipeline that will speed the exploitation of Canada’s highly polluting tar sands,” Waxman said in a statement on Friday responding to the government’s analysis.

California citizens use oil. Let them produce and refine oil based on their use. That goes to Florida, too. We all use oil.

Oil or it's derivatives is used in almost everything in a civilization.
Manufacturing, mining, clothing, machinery, farming, construction, processing food, I can't think of a single thing that isn't somehow tied to dirty oil. Even windmills and solar panels have to be manufactured by machines which need oil to function, power to run, and transportation get to the customer.
So don’t ship any oil to California.
