A leaked email from an Agriculture Department field officer adds fuel to claims President Obama's political strategy is to make the billions in recent federal budget cuts as painful as possible to win the public opinion battle against Republicans. ...According to the partially redacted email, the response came from the Agriculture Department’s budget office and in part states: “However you manage that reduction, you need to make sure you are not contradicting what we said the impact would be.”

This is America’s punitive administration.

Nothing more.

Whoever thought we’d descend this low — to elect a president who would prefer to PUNISH us, instead of lead, protect, and inspire us?

It’s just not my country anymore. It’s something else ...a living hell.

I’m really having a hard time getting motivated to do much of anything lately ...it’s just so depressing to live in a land like this. It’s just so foreign — to have such a lack of hope for the future.

I pray America just figures out a way to do what it needs to do to rid itself of this morelock that has latched/leeched onto this country. Nothing but bad news this guy is.

American logic is as follows if I get it right...........

Elect a president and an unconscious legislature who will keep me happy by giving me a free cell phone, food stamps, housing assistance, healthcare, all the while they procure tanks, predator drones, hellfire missiles, ammunition, and evesdropping gear to monitor my movements and associations and decide if I am contrarian to their liking?

Did I get that right?

I agree local spending is out of control. The problem- brainwashing. Everyone is totally convinced of socialist ideas about gov’t. Those ideas work their way into all levels of gov’t

<> Take heart. there are still a lot of people that haven't drunk the Kool-Aid. While we have lost many freedoms, we still have a lot compared to some countries.

“It’s just not my country anymore.”
Right. It IS like living in a foreign country. I can hardly understand some people when they speak. I don’t GET their music, etc.

I know every generation looks at young people like they are so revolutionary.. but this group of young people is positively inscrutable. AND in a way that does not promise anything better for the future.

Who was it who said: ‘Every new generation is a wave of savages, that we have to cultivate and civilize’?

Anyway, THIS group is beyond ALL hope.

I am sure that ‘Revolt of the Masses’ was entirely accurate! I thought so for a very long time, but now I am certain!

The mass comes along and enjoys, consumes and destroys EVERYTHING in the culture with NO idea where it came from, how it became or how to sustain it into the future as a proper behest for their children.

The Prez is a real piece of work, and there is no doubt that the Machiavellian Prince would resort to any means to prop up his regime and achieve his ends.

Except that the Prince was an "elightened despot" - he wielded his power, however harshly, in the best interests of the people. Obama and his puppeteers on the other hand clearly hold the United States in contempt and wants to destroy what is left of our nation. The very fact that he would release criminals upon the public shows that he doesn't care who gets hurt (or much worse). The man is a sociopath.
