Love it! And if you think Hollywood is in mourning with the death of Hugo, wait till Fidel bites the dust!

It’s like this: God takes no pleasure in a man spending eternity in Hell.

So neither do I.

That’s okay, I’ll take enough pleasure in it for the both of us.

I grew up in Hialeah. Most residents, who are Cuban, do not appreciate communism.

Hugo Chavez is dead. That's one thing. However, he died before his socialist construct of a country had a chance to prove its deficiencies. This means that the inevitable failure will be now blamed on Chavez's successor - who may just as well be a conservative capitalist; this will pave the way to a new populist, socialist leader - and he will use another 10 or 20 years to drive the country deeper into the ground.

This is essentially how it unfolded in USSR. After the death of Lenin apologists used it to blame the inherent problems of socialism on "clumsy implementation" done by his successors, shifting the blame away from the socialist principle. This is still going on; Obama himself is pushing for the Marxist way, implying that everyone who tried that before (and, naturally, failed) just "didn't do it correctly."

.vn is far enough, and theoretically it shouldn't affect the USA. However the propaganda value of Chavez's policies should not be ignored because it crosses all national borders.

Yes we should leave the casting into hell as the Almighty’s prerogative. Its quite possible the awful Hugo Chavez went to heaven if he repented of his sins and accepted Jesus Christ as Savior.

While that's largely true, please note that unlike the Constitution's presumption of innocence, God's revelation makes clear the presumption of guilt. "All have sinned and fallen short..."

For any "quite possible...went to heaven," it would behoove the claimant to support that with some fact before it reasonably would be called "quite possible." Theoretically possible, sure. "Quite possible?" Show me the repentance.
