Rand Paul - The first Senator ever to work "HONEST" 8 hour day. STAND WITH RAND!

Ted Cruz backing him up all the way. This could change everything.

That would be “stand”...not “stan”. Take your time here. It’s allowed.

I also happen to agree with your sentiment.

Cruz/Paul.

I like them...but they win by default even if I didn’t. Only 1 or 2 others in the party I even respect at all.

Not sure that makes it a game-changer as Brenner will be confirmed IMO. But Cruz has been on fire lately. I pray for him, the left will manufacture a scandal if they have to in order to take him down.

I tuned in at Noon and have not left the room since. This is the kind of calm, thoughtful, principled leader America is hungering for. He could be the lynch pin that brings this communist regime down. God bless Ted Cruz, Pat Toomey, Cornyn, Chambliss(I can’t believe I’m saying that) and even Marco Rubio scurried over to get in the picture. Where was Mitch McConnell? MIA as usual.

Obama and Holder are going to live to regret this one.

Palin?

I know there are plenty of FReepers who thinks she’s Gods gift to conservatives.

But she’s a quitter.

Sure, she has her family to protect, blah, blah...she’s a quitter. Probably has the heart, but not the fortitude to be a leader. Not when it gets really, really, hard anyway.

Chambliss surprised me, as well.

I’ve been listening to this most of the day, too, and no Limbaugh or Levin show could ever compare to the things Rand Paul has said today! It is/has been a proud day for Americans who have felt unrepresented, as well as insulted by this administration.

I e-mailed Chambliss and Isakson earlier urging them to support Rand Paul today.

Guess I owe Chambliss a “thank you” note, but am worried how he will vote in the end.

Why do you call Sarah a “quitter”?

She left the govenorship because she was inundated with the left’s CONSTANT court suits against her. I was under the impression she relinquished her position to save Alaska the trouble and expense of constantly having to defend herself against frivolous lawsuits.

$500,000 in legal bills and growing on a $130,000 salary would have bankrupted her family. The Palins would have lost EVERYTHING, what would you do? Her record of electing conservatives is better then anyone I can think of. Paul and Cruz would not be in the Senate if not for Palins’ support.

Gee, I got that impression as well.

Save Alaska money against frivolous lawsuits.

And that is a quality of an entire nations leader? Nope..

If those lawsuits were so frivolous, she'd have faced them, if she were a leader, the people of Alaska would be glad to defend her no matter the cost. - for COUNTRY.

A nations leader doesn't worry about just one state.

Not sayin’ I blame her, but Palin is Not a Leader.

blah, blah...she’s a quitter.

That is one of the most debunked memes ever posted on Free Republic - and I do mean thousands of times. I can't even believe you'd repeat it here.

Either look up the facts about it, or willingly choose to carry the left's water.

I don’t know about Paul, but Cruz had the full support of the majority of Texans, TEXANS put him in office. We didn’t need Sarah to tell us how to vote.

Btw, I’m not saying Palin is horrible, she’s just not a leader. She can’t take the heat...for whatever reason.

Sarah is loved because, face it, she was supposed to be what salvaged MCCain.

Think about who MCcain is, how we feel about him.....Sarah, was McCains Running Mate.

She left the govenorship because she was inundated with the left’s CONSTANT court suits against her.

Not only that, a judge ruled that her defense fund was illegal. Those lawsuits were mounting up into the millions of dollars, and were threatening to bankrupt her family.

On top of that, they were coming in at such a furious pace that she and her staff weren't able to conduct the people's business.

I'm literally stunned that some on our side are still buying into the left-wing lie that "she's a quitter". They need to read her book, "Going Rogue", to get the facts about her resignation from the Governorship.

Hey, I don’t blame her. It wouldn’t be worth it to me either.

PDS = Palin Derangement Syndrome

As to your comment "If those lawsuits were so frivolous, she'd have faced them..." She did face them, bu it wasn't about the cases themselves, but the enormous amounts of involved -- lawyer fees, deposition fees, court costs, etc. And, if I recall correctly, Alaska is unique in that the state doesn't pay these costs for its elected officials -- the Palins were responsible for them. (Someone please correct if this is wrong -- memory's not what it used to be.)

Well, if one takes note of the prominent GOP-E Palin-bashers, who rush to the media to constantly dump on her utilizing the memes of their buddies in the liberal media, one starts to quickly note that these are the same exact GOP-er’s that proclaim the Party needs to drop social issues and “go gay” and endorse homo marriage. Whatta coincidence. Yep, the PDS faggot brigade, always reporting for dooty.

"This Friday begins the final weekend before the Texas Republican Senate runoff. Tuesday, Cruz faces off against Lt. Gov. David Dewhurst for the seat being vacated by Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchinson. Dewhurst, a former solicitor general of Texas, is backed by Gov. Rick Perry and was once considered a shoe-in until Palin and other conservative favorites got involved in the race."

Sarah helped Cruz greatly in Texas, I know because I was on the fence. Dan Patrick whom I greatly respect was all in for Dewhurst. I decided to trust Sarah and vote Cruz. I am very happy I did.
