Were seeing a profile in courage, properly understood, that could prove transformative not just for the GOP.

Don’t miss my interview with Senator Rand Paul on today’s show, folks. He’ll be joining me at the top of the second hour.

“It is a ________ which would cause a media uproar and calls for impeachment from congressional Democrats and their newspaper lackeys if the author worked for a Republican administration.”
Fill in the blank.

It’s hard to “Stand with Rand” now that’s he’s sat down.

At National Review (who many here rightly highlight the GOPe choir within it), there is an article by Kevin D. Williamson with this exact title ... 'Stand With Rand!'
Even better, there is an online survey with the question ... "Is Rand Paul a hero for his filibuster?" Over 9,000 votes and 'Yes' is 91%!
To: EXCH54FE
I’ve never seen a trending topic settle at the top for more than a few hours but #StandWithRand and #filibuster are still at the top of the twitterverse.

Not so fast. Now let’s see how he votes. Paul — and all Republicans except Inhofe, Cornyn and Cruz — hurt themselves by voting for Kerry’s confirmation.
He’s certainly talked the talk. Now let’s see if he will walk the walk. I’m hoping he does.

In the world of 0bama & his zombies: Drone is good, even on Americans.
While the waterboarding of enemy combatants caught on the field of battle is bad.
The world is mad. Completely utterly insane.
To: Colonel_Flagg
And of course, by voting for Hagel. I’m waiting to see a vote from Rand Paul that is true to his opposition.

Bingo...that was going to be my question, if his vote doesn’t match his rhetoric, it was sound and fury signifying nothing.

While I NEVER watch CSPAN (paint drying more thrilling), when I heard the filibuster was on, I went there and kept it tuned locked and turned up for the entire filibuster. I believe it was an historic moment. #standwithrand. :o)

Rand just rose about 13 miles in my estimation, while Lindsey Graham and the other RINOS sunk to.... well, they couldn’t sink any lower than I already put them.
