I have a friend who is truly an essential government employee, in military research. Sequester cuts are forcing him to trim his budget over 25% yet these buffoons can spend willy nilly on non-essentials like this fluff and non-American stuff like $250,000,000 to Syria and tanks to Egypt.

I am surprised that he hasn’t recanted the pardoning of last Thanksgiving’s turkey and ordered it slaughtered and eaten to save money.

You know he’s not going to cause pain to his donors and flunkies. That’s for you and I to suffer.

An outstanding comment.

And if the Republicans had any guts and creativity, they could make a devastating tv commercial based on that idea.

Wait, this is a misprint. The Obamas are Muslim and therefore will have a head roll.

Didn’t they already try that PC stunt last year?

The male/male couples were baffled by the concept of an egg.

The event is undoubtedly a major expense for the Secret Service, which must plan for such a big crowd at the White House and protect them throughout the day.

Well then why not just lock it up till 2016?

Bammy and mooche can go back to Chicago and enjoy the scenery.

American taxpayers can enjoy the savings, the peace and quiet of not enduring constant breathless butt smooching of the mouthpiece media and TV networks can get a break from near weekly interruptions when the emperor is told to read some propaganda somebody wrote for him.

He can get a web cam and a youtube channel. If the O-bots want to see the master they can click the vid link.

My guess is that the damn government is going to go on spending what it wants where it wants for as long as it wants. I think this sequester crap is all just the latest parlor game. Chances are they don’t know how much they spend on anything and couldn’t reduce it even if they wanted to.

I suppose by having it on a weekday and AFTER Easter, they can expect a lower turnout... which will save a few bucks.
