Mosquitoes 20 times the size of normal mosquitoes could invade Florida this summer, experts say.
The female galinipper (Psorophora ciliata), a very large mosquito with hairy legs, feeds day and night and are common in Florida.
But major tropical events such as Tropical Storm Debby awakened the dormant galinipper eggs, and scientists are expecting a boom in the next few months.

A friend of mine said the mosquitos in Montana were so big they could stand flat footed and defile a turkey.

Write any books?
Had one in the works for several years. Now that I’ve hung up my spurs, I just might get the time to really focus on it and finish it. I figure there just might be a younger generation with an interest in the Cold War era bush wars.
All too often folks with a good story keep it to themselves.If you fail to put it in print it will be lost.
If for NO other reason, leave the story for your decendants.
You have to know how many folks from WWII are gone and never even told their families they did tremendous things.
Just do it.
