State Sen. Tom Lee, the new county Republican Party chairman, says the local party is moving its meeting site to make it more geographically inclusive of Tampa, northwest Hillsborough and university area Republicans.
Lee said the new site, the Museum of Science and Industry, may also send more of a big-tent message than the previous meeting site in an evangelical church, The River of Tampa Bay in Mango.

I hate the term “inclusive”.
I agree. Set off alarm bells immediately.
More inclusive? The Florida GOP already has plenty of liberals already. Why invite more?
I likethe idea of meeting at a museum of science and industry, tho. Good smart choice.

They just want fewer rural, suburban conservatives and more city RINOs in attendance.
I think that was in 2008, and I took my son to it. I live 2 miles from MOSI so this is awesome for me.
inclusive = “i am excluding ...”
They have a nice big meeting area which will be more appropriate. They used to meet at a place which was very cramped, making it difficult to get around.
