In the wake of Sandy Hook, progressives have unsurprisingly placed the blamed on inanimate objects rather than on the mentally disturbed individuals who use them. As such, gun-control proposals and legislation have swept state legislatures throughout the nation,. As the gun control debate rages on, common sense seems to have been hijacked by hyper-paranoia and zero-tolerance policies in schools across the nation.
And since there seems to be a gun-hysteria story du jour, here is a compilation of 10 recent incidents that best demonstrate how far off the political correctness deep end people in this country have gone:
1. Michigan: “School confiscates cupcakes decorated with Toy Soldiers” – A woman made a batch of cupcakes for her son’s classmates. Her 9-year-old son decorated them with plastic soldier figurines. The mother was called shortly after delivering them and was told they couldn’t be served because the soldiers had guns.
2. Maryland: “Pop-Tart Pistol?: 7-year-old gets suspended for gun-shaped pastry”—The child claims he tried to make it into the shape of a mountain but it turned out looking more like a gun. Obviously he was suspended for two days. PS- students are being offered counseling services if they were troubled by the pastry incident.
3. Colorado: “Colorado boy, 7, reportedly faces suspension for tossing imaginary grenade”—He was just trying to save the world from evil forces but apparently that flies in the face of the school’s “no weapons, real or imaginary,” policy. He doesn’t understand why he was “dispended,” either.
4. Maryland: “6-year-old boy suspended for pointing finger like a gun got off easy”—Just suspension, not expulsion? The author of this article quips, “Soon, six year-old children will be forced to sit indoors playing Sensitivity Training and delivering Powerpoint lectures to each other on Safety Within the Home and Workforce Best Practices.”

This is what happens when you raise a generation of teachers without critical-thinking skills.
This is what happens when we do nothing.
Liberals get ever more crazy. And we do nothing.
Just saying. Nothing.
One of our local schools was locked down this morning because a shell casing was found in a bathroom.
When I was in school in the 80s no one would have batted an eye at a shotgun in the rear window gun rack and box of shells in a locker.
This is conditioning and brainwashing. All or most of the schools are doing similar things, going ballistic over pictures, fingers, and so forth (including the “fact” that the Boston Tea Party was put on by terrorists).
This conditioning will continue through high school and on into college.
How do you suppose these kids will vote on RKBA issues when they turn 18?
They are being brainwashed by the teachers who were taught from the time they were nine that the USA is a democracy, and the Miller SCOTUS decision means civilians can’t own guns.
This only looks like poor judgement and lack of common sense, but if you consider that our AG Eric Holder said that the only way to make America gun-free was through consistent and persistent brainwashing of the American people, it starts to look like a plan, not so irrational.
when we have a cult or zombies running schools then this is what we get.
The collective borg, unable to think for themselves and see a rule and follow it with no common sense.
The left just has no idea how dumb they are and yet they still praise each other on TV, FB how smart they are.
Gosh, it’s so hard to know for sure when the hysteria has gone too far these days.
Soon every kid who wants a couple of days “vacation” will realize that all they need to do is say “bang”, draw a picture of a weapon on the blackboard, or doodle a stick figure with a gun on their notebook.
A kid in my class today had a nerf shotgun in his backpack. I had him take it out so that I could see it since my son’s birthday is this weekend. No one died in the ensuing nerf carnage. I teach 3rd grade. ........in Texas.
We need to remove Idaho from the map. If you tip it on its side it looks like a gun.
We need to start sueing the schools....plain and simple. Start holding them accountable for scaring the sh*t our of our kids for no reason...

Let me reiterate, it is brainwashing for the future. It is Orwell 1984 thought control.
Lawsuits may help if you can find lawyers and judges on our side.
If you have critical thinking skills you don't buy into liberalism. If you don't buy into liberalism you're not allowed to teach.
Where are the critical-thinking skills of the parents? Who would leave their children in the care of these raving lunatics?
Liberals, a group of people who have been so keen of keeping an open mind about so much, that in an effort to encompass tolerance for everything and anything regardless of rationality or merit, their brains have fallen out!
