An MBTA bus driver was pummeled by up to 15 attackers while on his route in Dorchester early yesterday, MBTA cops said.
The victim, identified as a 53-year-old man, was driving the Route 16 bus on Columbia Road at Geneva Avenue about 1:15 a.m. when a group of 10 to 15 youths boarded and began punching him, said MBTA police Superintendent in Chief Joseph O’Connor.
Cops are investigating but so far are baffled as to the motive.

Thank God that he wasn’t armed with a pistol and just a 10-round magazine. He wouldn’t have ever had time to change magazines to shoot the other five guys.

If Sharpton and Jackson arrive on the scene we will know the bus driver was black and the perps were anything but minorities. In essence, if a black bus driver was beaten by whitey - Sharpton and Jackson WILL get involved. However, if the driver happens to be Caucasian, and the perps are black, Sharpton and Jackson will remain true to form and stay quiet as a mouse.
