Why Florida Persists in the Zimmerman Prosecution
American Thinker ^ | March 11, 2013 | Jack Cashill

Prodded by a president with a weakness for racial agitation and enabled by a politically complicit media, the State of Florida persists in a prosecution that can come to no good end.

The defendant is neighborhood watch captain George Zimmerman. The charge is the second-degree murder. The potential outcomes range from major injustice, if Zimmerman is convicted, to mayhem in the streets, if he's acquitted. And the state plods on as though the angels were on its side. They are not.

The witnesses to the February 2012 shooting of 17 year-old Trayvon Martin are proving even more troublesome than the angels. The state's case took a hit last week when Witness #8, Martin's alleged 16-year-old sweetheart "Dee Dee," was caught in falsehoods so flagrant that even the Trayvon-friendly Orlando Sentinel noticed them. Conceded the headline, "Lawyer: State's main witness in George Zimmerman murder case lied."

Several months ago I heard on a local (Florida) radio show that Zimmerman is a registered RAT, has/had a obama bumper sticker and his father/family were big time donors to zero.....at that point I lost all interest and dont care what happens to him...........

“And that ALWAYS been one of our major reasons to oppose gun control.”

THAT is also exactly why I purchased my two paramilitary rifles, along with them being cool guns that are loads of fun to shoot.

I don’t, either. Not about him personally. You vote Dhimmicrat, don’t come crying to me about the consequences when they happen to YOU.

On the other hand, if they can do it to Zimmerman, they can do it do you. Standing against abuse of the letgal system is in our interests, even if our “hero” is not one.

“On January 15, 2008, Nifong filed for bankruptcy under Chapter 7 of the Bankruptcy Code.[89] He listed assets of almost $244,000 and liabilities of over $180.3 million, the bulk of which being six $30 million “unsecured nonpriority claims,” one for each of the six members of the 2005–2006 Duke Lacrosse team suing Nifong, among others.”

I didn’t see this in the article. Please give the source. Thank You.

The quote is just from Mike Nifong's Wiki page. It seemed like it took forever to get justice. But in the end Nifong was disgraced, disbarred and sued into bankruptcy for his part in the 2006 Duke University lacrosse case.

He did then exactly what Angela Corey and others are doing in the Zimmerman case now.

And of course all the jackwagons like Al Sharpton and the lying news media, that make their money off of race baiting, all quietly crawled away after the Duke team was cleared...only to start screaming again the minute they got wind of the Zimmerman case.

Zimmerman is to be sacrificed on the alter of political correctness in order not to see the ghettos burn.

Was Trayvon on the phone at the time Dee Dee says he was or not? The phone records exist. That alone should blow her story out of the water.

That's why the prosecution excluded the phone records of that day from what they gave to the defense. Does that answer your question?

That site he mentioned is the go-to site for the case. I’ve posted this before:

For those just starting to pay attention (e.g., the local Florida press) to “Witness 8”, here’s some very good work — done almost a year ago — showing that “DeeDee”

- did not consider herself to be Trayvon’s “girlfriend”
- could not possibly have been on the phone for him for multiple hundreds of minutes that day, and maybe not at all
- could not possibly have gone to the hospital (yes, this was well known by April 21, 2012)

My recollection is that the case was so obviously non-existent that they made themselves scarce long before that. The only person who hung on to the end was Nancy Grace, who, on the day they were cleared, showed the good grace to admit she was wrong by taking the first unscheduled leave from her show in three years.

Problem is, we, as a society, are not seeing riots as the opportunity they are to chlorinate the gene pool, and to remove a bunch of liabilities from the social ledger...

That site appeared to be a link in the article but didn’t work.
I had read the stuff prior but it’s poor writing in my opinion to feature a point so prominently and then just drop it.

Yes, but the prosecution is stonewalling the release of the records. We must railroad Zimmerman because Saint Trayvon is a victim of a racist facility.

Legally, how can they get away with that? Don't they have to share exculpatory evidence?

Call it what it is....black pacification!

Actually black incitement, the democrats set out to create racial militancy in black voters almost 50 years ago, and they strive to keep them at fever pitch, it is the only way that you can win the devoting of 90 and 95% of such a huge group of voters, you must make them identify as a tribe, a race, or a group, unified against an enemy.
