I agree with you.
It appears that New Jersey has finally slipped completely over the line and is now a “Police State”.

Socialist Republic of New Jersey. Praying for this family. This makes me feel so sick.

It's amazing how the Town Council types can file a false Police Report and get away with it.

for those freeper morons who still think that "It can't happen here" maybe a wakeup call (or not - just keep licking that jackboot polish and telling yourself that the "police are on our side")

Where is that fat governor who can’t get enough face time on TV? This is a gross violation of an American’s civil rights....or do only the Takers have civil rights now?

Welcome to the USSA, comrades.
Big Brother will NOT tolerate damned Constitution fanatics quoting that obsolete document.
Just like back in the USSR.
Freedom lovers need to leave the police states, and move to free(r) states. Their loss, our gain.

This is a pretty incredible story...
But it shows just how far we’ve fallen and how freakin’ helpless we’ve allowed ourselves to become.

So - does she have witnesses that she never stated the comment that landed her with an assault charge? It doesn't matter if she was yelling or talking normal, the fact of the matter is that there has to be witnesses that stated she said, "That if the door is locked, I'll be back with a gun." - making those that she directed that to believe she would make good. Now, despite the quote, she didn't say she was armed at that very moment. There's a "time" argument there. I'm pretty sure the court will allow "time" to be a factor of people getting upset over the issue - but if time is factored in - then that has to be taken into account -- a cooling off period.
Beyond that, is there a local ordnance that states that if you are arrested for assault (verbal) or battery (physical) that any weapons in the residence are to be seized for public protection?
In the end, other factors of why people were upset need to be taken and assessed - the bad economy and that of gun rights - both that seem to be a priority in NJ to where anyone speaking out against such will be targeted. The Citizen needs to avoid these set-up agenda public forums and move out of the state!

It has been my experience that it usually takes both sides being asshats to cause this sort of outcome. If she was calm, and HAS VIDEO or audio to back up her claim, she is fine. If she kicked and yelled and threatened to come back with guns, it was perfectly reasonable to disarm her.
The stuff about being a child of (fill in the blank) sounds like something the left would say.

On the surface, I have a lot of problems with is what is alleged to have gone down. However, there is very little detail in this story. It’s way too biased and amateurish to take seriously.
