Kilpatrick was considered a rising Democratic star when he was elected in 2001, but his tenure was scarred by allegations of cronyism, nepotism and out-of-control spending. And one very suspicious unsolved murder...

Two prominent black Dem pols (JJJr and KK) go down under federal attack.
Apparently they didn’t pay enough in tribute to Baraq and WithHolder.

Kilpatrick was considered a rising Democratic star when he was elected in 2001,He's gotta' be highly electable . . . look at these two scumbags
Bill Clinton: rape, sexual predator, thief, drug abuse, traitor, perjurer
Hillary Clinton: thief, liar, perjurer, possible accessory to murder, abuser of a corpse, obstructor of justice, traitor

WIKI-—Kwame’s mother, Carolyn Cheeks Kilpatrick’s, 2008 Congressional campaign was plagued by controversy surrounding her son and his involvement in a text messaging sex scandal. However, Kilpatrick narrowly won....in a predominatly Black district she had previously won in a rout.
In 2010, she was again challenged in the Democratic primary...and lost.
NPR and CBS News both noted that throughout her re-election campaign, she was dogged by questions about her son, Kwame Kilpatrick, who is in prison on numerous corruption charges. Michigan Live reported that her election defeat could in part be attributed to Kwame’s scandals....and those of her ex-husband.
Kilpatrick married then divorced Bernard Nathaniel Kilpatrick, with whom she also has a daughter Ayanna. She has six grandsons, including two sets of twins.
Both her husband and son were on trial under an 89-page felony indictment.

Kilpatrick was considered a rising Democratic star when he was elected in 2001... It's too bad someone doesn't do an annual "rising Democratic star" list, or a "Top 40 Democrats under 40" - and then do a follow up 10 years later. Guarantee that most of them will be doing time for bribery, tax evasion, or some other crime.

Thanks SeekAndFind.
...prosecutors said he presided over a breathtaking profit machine by rigging contracts and demanding bribes. The racketeering count carries up to 20 years in prison. Kilpatrick was convicted of at least six other criminal counts and acquitted of one, and jurors said they were unable to reach a verdict on two. Kilpatrick was charged with 30 federal crimes. The verdict was still being delivered in federal court in Detroit... Kilpatrick, 42, was charged with bribery, extortion and tax evasion

For the sake of efficiency Detroit should eliminate the middle man by electing people already in jail. No new trials or investigations and the voters will have “face time” on visiting day.

Cronyism, nepotism and out-of-control spending.
That just about covers the democrat party and the base approves, business as usual.

Hot dog! Another resume enhancement for a Democrap politician "brother". Just like former DC mayor Marion Berry and ex-felon, he's now on the DC city council. Felony convictions are Donkey resume enhancement for voters. Ex-felon and pervert Mel Reynolds is running for JJJ's seat in Congress and he will fit right in, if elected.

It has become a hackneyed theme. Enterprising individuals build a great city. The prosperous city is reduced to rubble by naive, well meaning, misinformed utopians and opportunists.

Guarantee that most of them will be doing time for bribery, tax evasion, or some other crime. And they will have done incredible damage on the way. All the cities run by these people are devolving into chaos.
