Feds buying 100 years worth of ammo

When the numbers are put in perspective, the federal government’s extraordinary buildup of ammunition looks even more ominous than critics already have portrayed it.

An analysis by Forbes contributor Ralph Benko shows the 1.6 billion rounds of ammo that the government is acquiring would be enough for more than 100 years of training. As WND previously reported, it also would be enough ammunition to fight a war for more than 20 years.

It would give the federal government enough ammunition to shoot every American more than five times. Concerned about surveillance drones, tanks in the streets and gun confiscation? Find out “HOW AMERICA IS BECOMING A POLICE STATE” in this shocking WND special report.

The Department of Homeland Security argues it is buying in bulk to save money, explaining it uses as many as 15 million rounds a year for training law enforcement agents.

Forbes columnist Benko, who worked for two years in the U.S. Department of Energy’s general counsel’s office in its procurement and finance division, doubts the government’s explanation.

“To claim that it’s to “get a low price” for a ridiculously wasteful amount is an argument that could only fool a career civil servant,” he writes.

But it’s not just the amount of ammo the feds are buying, it’s the type of ammo that’s also is causing concern.

WND has reported the DHS order apparently......

I think it’s very simple-—if they can’t take our guns, they can take our ammo.....nobody saw this coming before it was too late.

Just have ammo suppliers deny the supply. Send it to Wal-Mart. I’ll buy it.

The Nazis in this country are going crazy. Keep the ammunition away from the people by buying it all up.

Mass insurrection and violence as the Feds efforts spin out of control. Food shortages. Gun confiscation.

What else possibly explains it all...

In the last four days I have able to acquire 3,000 small pistol primers. I am picking up 2,000 small rifle primers on Wednesday. When I reload, I think I have more than that will keep me alive OR i am not making it through all that ammo alive if it comes down to a fight.

The government may be able to buy all of that ammo, but how many people do they have to use it? And what happens when they have return fire.

I keep posting this, that the purchases are due to the fedzilla knowing there is a date certain in the near future when they will not be able to be resupplied for a few years, due to the collapse of America being engineered.

Thanks a lot George for seeing fit to create this monster.

And where will you be when American blood runs through the streets? Drinking martini’s on some remote beach maybe?

Don’t choke on that olive.

I don’t understand why no one will simply put the numbers and the information in a story so that we can figure out the truth of this thing.

What are the past records of purchases, have they normally used hollow points for practice, are these purchases or some sort of price guarantee, how many personnel are expected to use how many of these rounds annually?

“nobody saw this coming before it was too late.”

Wrong. Millions did. It was discussed decades ago. Billions of rounds are in our hand already.

While paying for items I purchased at the local Walmart, the checker asked if I had found everything okay. I said, “Yes, except for ammo. You have a shortage on that”. The man behind me commented that the Federal Government was probably buying it all up. I replied, that, yes, the Government was indeed buying huge quantities of ammo. The man then stated he was just joking. I told him that the DHS has recently purchased 1.6 billion rounds of ammo. And, they had also just purchased 2,717 MRAP’s - heavily armored military vehicles. He was dumbstruck by this revelation. The sheople haven’t a clue on what this government is doing.

And we’re supposed to believe they paid premium prices to use hollow points for “target practice”?

As near as I can tell, ALL of the 1.6 Billion rounds ordered are hollow points.

So, all of those attempting to quiet the “conspiracy theories”, are going to need more ammunition....

About 15 years ago an old obnoxious friend of my husband’s practically forced us to buy all his reloading stuff because he needed money. I was mad cuz I could have used that money too, now I’m glad.

Everyone I know has at least 2,000 rounds (not me of course, since that unfortunate boating accident...lost guns and ammo..damn shame).

But I suggest the U.S Government of Obama take a look at what happened in 1776 (Gosh, I know Obama doesn't like to study American History).

Confiscation didn't work out as planned.

Funny bout that kind of stuff.

FUBO!

Twenty years ago I could have depended on National Review to get around to covering this story and publishing the facts and clearing up the rumors from the truth.
