The Colombian Constitutional Court on Monday reasserted its support for gay rights in response to a reactionary appeal raised by the Inspector General.
In May of 2012, Colombias inspector general sought to annul the courts 2011 decision which established survivor pension rights for couples of the same sex. The court on Monday reasserted the stance it took in 2011, which was that couples of the same sex constitute family before the law. An official ruling on the Inspector Generals appeal has yet to be provided by the court.

If I understand the judge correctly, he is saying “I have ruled that group x has right y, but right y doesn’t exist in the law, so the legislature needs to pass such a law to avoid ‘conflict’ with my ruling.”
Would you want to go to such a court, for any reason? Would you feel that your life, property, mortgages, etc were safe?
So I guess it’s not just the countries of North America and Europe that are spitting in the face of God.
