Appearing on CNN's The Situation Room With Wolf Blitzer on March 11, Mark Kelly said he planned from the start to hand over an AR-15 rifle he purchased to the Tuscon Police Department.
Blitzer then quoted a section from the March 9 Breitbart News story on Kelly's purchase, and asked Kelly to respond.
Here's what Blitzer read:
Breitbart News then began investigating the details surrounding the purchase, including visiting the gun store. Suddenly, Kelly announced on his Facebook page that he was not going to keep the AR-15, which he has yet to pick up from the store.
Kelly responded that he went into the gun store with a plan to buy a .45, "and if we had the opportunity, to buy the AR-15 as well." He said he didn't "know the timing," but he and his people "had a plan for when [they] were going to announce it on Facebook."
Attention to this issue has been intense, because Kelly bought the AR-15 on March 5 but did not announce that he was turning it over to Tucson PD until three days later.

A disgrace to the US military(I guess he doesn’t recall the oath that he swore to. I remember it and I took it in ‘67. Still holds today!) and to the astronaut corps. But, a lot of the astros are liberals.

Why didn’t he pick it up the day he bought it? This ain’t CA with a 10 day wait.
Many people have called this action “Hypocritical”.
I would like to clarify for all if I can : He is NOT a hypocrite.
You see, He and his wife (As well as about 1000 other political elite) fully understand that they are elite. They are better than we. They believe that it is their birthright to have sweeping powers and we are to answer to them. They fully believe, as we do that water is wet, that they are meant to lead and command all of us.
They fully believe that we are Serfs, to be controlled and managed. And why shouldn’t they ? Gabby Giffords thinks that she is the only one affected by the shooter because the news told her so. Gabby Giffords doesn’t care even an iota that kids were killed, adults were killed, or that anyone else was even present on that fateful day. _She_ was attacked by a peasant, and by her command - the peasants shall pay.
Dianne Feinstein (Piss be upon her) carries a gun. Or did. Or something. But either way, she carries on a plane, she carries in federal buildings, she’ll even carry in a school. She’ll do so with impunity because the gun grab simply _isn’t for her_. These maggots seriously think they are elite and deserve - nay - NEED to carry massive firepower because they know that they are the good guys, and everyone else is evil.
And why shouldn’t they ? They have been given free reign of all that is ours for decades now. When that Jeanne Nicholson worm told those people to sit down, She received no backlash. Well, she received backlash from a bunch of conservative news sites that she doesn’t read, nor knows anyone else that reads them. She is Insulated. Protected. Coddled.

Straw purchaser for the Tucson PD.
It’s a stupid stunt.
Similar to a 50 year old walking into a liquor store and buying a bottle.
Then saying,
“See! how easy was that?”
Straw purchasers can be prosecuted.
Unless they work for DOJ.
So, he lied on his background check questionaire.
It clearly states that you cannot buy a gun for someone else, and that you must be the person you are purchasing the gun for.
This man has committed a crime, he has admitted to it, and he should be arrested and charged.
People like him is how criminals are obtaining weapons illegaly, according to our government.
This is like a Vegan petitioning congress to ban meat, then caught buying Whoppers at Burger King. Then the Vegan comes up with some horseshit excuse that they’d always intended to turn in the burgers to the ASPCA. But they’re keeping the chicken salad.
Astronauts are just crazy and creepy. Time to defund NASA once and for all.
I call my former congresscritter Mark Schauer Marky Mark since he always had to be in the news and be this manufactured star. Marky Mark Kelly's the same thing.
