The new Gloria Steinem in every negative way possible who was mentored at Harvard by none other than Larry Summers (nee Samuelson). Another socialist useful idiot.

Interesting article talking about personalty types and why it is hard for women to be the breadwinner

How to pick a husband if you want to have kids

You cannot pick a husband to have kids with until you know if you want to work full-time while you are raising them. Some women will say they know for sure that they do want to work full-time. Most women will say that they don’t know for sure. But there are actually only two choices: be a breadwinner or marry a breadwinner. Then, within those two choices, there are a few strategies you could use.

Scenario 1: Be a Breadwinner

If you want to work full-time when you have kids then you had better plan on having a huge job that you love. Because nothing else will seem worth it to put yourself and your family through what they will have to go through.

If you are on the fence about this, here’s a good way to get off the fence: if you’re not anINTJ or an ENTJ you probably won’t be able to compartmentalize enough at work to choose this scenario. You will feel bad about not being with your kids. You cannot control this. It’s how women are wired. I’m sorry. INTJ is the most uncommon score for a woman. ENTJ is the second most uncommon. You can look around at all the big job, high-powered women and see that almost all of them have one of these scores. Sometimes an ENFJ slips in, but they are tortured and don’t last. The F kills them. They feel bad that they are not fulfilling their duty as parents. It’s not peer pressure, it’s internal pressure. It’s how an ENFJ is wired.

Your post reminds me of the Proverbs 31 woman.
She keeps the home AND is an entrepeneur.
No need to go to the “city gates”, that’s not her thing.

Actually, there are a number of studies that show women on average systematically underrate their relative strengths—and men overrate theirs.

The explanation IMO is the difference in testosterone levels.

Also, women are both less likely to be driven to be ‘the best’ at whatever, above all else, and they get less relative reward from the opposite sex for managing to be so.

There are also fewer female narcissists than male, and narcissists are especially driven to achieve in order to prove that they are better than others.

On the flip side, of course higher female hormones tend to make women value nurturing more.

Doesn’t mean there aren’t great and talented women who want, and should be able, to achieve much. Just means that there are fewer of them driven to do so in the same way, and by the same measures, as men.

Women, however always think they’re right. (and you’re stupid)

“The German word for nurse is Krankenschwester which is definitely feminine”

Mark Twain in “The Awful German Language”.

“In German, a young lady has no sex, while a turnip has. Think what overwrought reverence that shows for the turnip, and what callous disrespect for the girl. See how it looks in print — I translate this from a conversation in one of the best of the German Sunday-school books:

“Gretchen.
Wilhelm, where is the turnip?
Wilhelm.
She has gone to the kitchen.
Gretchen.
Where is the accomplished and beautiful English maiden?
Wilhelm.
It has gone to the opera.”

Just curious, who raises Sandburgs two children? Essentailly, that person is filling the role of the mother that she vacated by being COO of facebook.

She is part of a trend that equates mothering to carefully selecting specialists and caregivers to be there for her, and then writing checks.

My daughter began her career on a Disney property and may have been destined for resort management. Today she home schools three with another due to enter K in a couple years. I am most pleased with her choice.

Or had a boy baby wee in your eyes?
__________________________________________

No

You pull down the front of the diaper and let the colder air onto his wee places...

just for a short few seconds...

the cooler air causes him to pee..

then quickly cover up that spot again in time for him to pee pee into his old diapee...

then change him into a new/fresh one

Worked every time when I did it...

whats wrong with you men ???

:)

BTW I had 6 dozen cloth diapers that I folded into “kites” and washed and dried on the clothes line...yes I had a dryer but the babys clothes lasted longer if they were dried on the line...and then theres that “sunshine” thingy...I dont remember the brand name of the detergent for baby clothes..1970s

I used Pampers for the church nursery and the babysitter while I was in class in college...

Women, by being born, are given gifts and a lifestyle that is more rich than men receive. It's perfectly normal that when you're blissed out in happiness you won't strive as hard. And it's designed that way. Morons.

I've noticed both from personal experience and from studies that women tend to judge themselves more harshly than men on other matters, too. Women, for example, are less likely than men to consider themselves good-looking.

No woman will ever be the equal of a man until she can look at her reflection in a plate glass store window and, upon seeing a balding head, a paunch over the belt and a myriad of wrinkles say...

"damn, I'm looking good!"

All these liberal women who decry the relatively low numbers of women on corporate boards or in high-ranking political positions fail to understand that for most of us, the fire-in-the-belly is just not there. We just aren’t driven to conquer the world.

They all know it - they just find that truth unacceptable. They are trying to legislate biological reality out of existence. It will end with Islam burkha-ing them out of existence.

I understand women who want to stay home the first years of children’s lives, but once they become of school age, they don’t need you hovering over them as soon as they get home from school. If you work until 7, then that’s an issue, but children will not be devastated or their development be altered because you are not with them those 2 hours before you get home.

Let your kids grow up a little without you. They’ll be more independent and better for it in the long run. It will also keep you from having a child in your house when they are 30 because they have not experienced independence and responsibility without mommy.

Sounds like a good technique. But didn't the wee happen at least once or twice before you learned it?

I got out of the shower once and had just a towel around me when my wife had to run for the john. She handed my baby daughter to me, who promptly latched on to my exposed nipple. Yowza!

Women, for example, are less likely than men to consider themselves good-looking.
Knock me over with a feather! Anyone peruse the average shopping mall lately and figure out why women's clothing stores (and sections within department stores selling both) outnumber those for men by at least a factor of three?

Not so long ago, someone published a survey on self perceptions and found women who felt they were good looking was about 10%, average about 10% and unattractive about 80%. The breakdown for men, on the other hand, was a more logical 10% - 80% - 10%.

Why Men Are the Way They Are: The Male-Female Dynamic
This book is not unreservedly recommended, you could give it a barf alert. But when it’s right, it’s right.

There are also fewer female narcissists than male

That's true of NPD but regular narcissism, excessive self-love/vanity with its accessory emotion envy, is so characteristic of women it seems odd only when a man behaves that way. The excessive envy is why women are more leftist than men. Leftist men have female levels of vanity/envy.

You don’t know leftist men if you think they’re not riven with envy.
