After the election of Pope Francis I on Wednesday, Vice President Joe Biden issued a statement talking about the importance of Catholicism to him personally and how much he is looking forward to working with the pope.

As vice president, Biden has advanced causes directly contrary to the teachings of the Catholic Church—favoring, for example, the legalized killing of children in the womb and legalized same-sex marriage.

“Jill and I want to offer our congratulations to His Holiness Pope Francis, and extend our prayers as he takes on this holy responsibility,” said Biden.

“I am happy to have the chance to personally relay my well wishes, and those of the American people, when I travel to Rome for his Inaugural Mass,” Biden said. “The Catholic Church plays an essential role in my life and the lives of more than a billion people in America and around the world, not just in matters of our faith, but in pursuit of peace and human dignity for all faiths. I look forward to our work together in the coming years on many important issues.” …

Slow Joe, Pelosi, and Sebelius all support the Death Penalty for the pre-born.

An evil lot for certain.

Totally unbelievable how people can separate their political views from their religious views. We live in a mixed up world. Which Joe Biden do we believe? The one who will go to mass, or the one who supports abortion, hey, you can’t have it both ways...unless we are using two standards to measure.

Hey Joe, if the Catholic Church plays such an essential role in your life then
why do you have one cell phone for your wife and another for your girlfriends?

Imagine Biden’s surprise when he is denied Holy Communion.

Slo-Joe Biden is a typical leftist hypocrite who gives lip service to the Catholic church and pretends that his 'faith' is really important to him while supporting evil such as abortion and same-sex 'marriage'. So Joe 'looks forward to working with the pope'? One wonders how that will be accomplished. I have an idea of how: a quick visit to the Vatican, a 10-minute photo-op with the pope and a few words of piety from Biden afterward. Then back to opposing Catholic teachings on abortion, homosexual relations, contraception and whatever gets in the way of Obama's plan to wreck America from the inside while Joe Biden makes a show of attending mass and takes to calling the pope 'his good friend'. Gimme a break!

I hope Pope Francis tells the Swiss Guard to turn Plugs and Jill to leave Vatican City because he wants only real Catholics to attend his investiture.

It is the opinion of this non-Catholic that Biden uses the tenets of the Church as beliefs to OPPOSE in his frantic seeking of the votes of the LEFT.

Hopefully Pope Francis will excommunicate Biden - and send a strong message that Christ doesn’t care what your rank or title is - it’s either get with the program or get kicked out!

If I was a Eucharistic Minister and Biden approached me. I’d give him a non “Garden Variety” slap.

If a pope had courage, he would excommunicate the American Democrat “Catholics” for blatantly opposing the church’s teaching on abortion and homosexual “marriage” to further their political careers. But popes don’t have that courage, the politicians live in open rebellion, and when they breathe their last, the church buries them with an ostentatious show.

No wonder people leave the church.

Mine would too. There may be people who take communion at our church who share Biden's views on killing babies but keep their mouths shut about it but they are not hiding their views from God
