I guess we’ll see how the gun issues play out. That would be a huge feather in Oblama’s cap. There are a number of issues important to Oblama that the Republicans have stood in the way of. I just hope they do more of it.

This thread is hilarious. If the Dems never stood for Bush you would all be bitching about no respect for the office. Hypocrites.

You need to close your FR window and post that to the DU one you had open. Bye.

I wondered how the GOP keeps afloat and then I realized. The Dems are supporting them financially. They are the same people

LMFAO! Good grief what a typically ridiculous response. I’ve been here longer than you but thanks for playing.

I don’t know if the dems ever refused to stand for President Bush but I do know that at least two sitting Rat senators publicly stated their desire to physically attack him.

I can’t think of one.

As far as gun rights go, I’m standing in the way. Republicans are not needed, nor are they wanted.

Those rights are going with me to my grave.

“usual for people to stand upon the President entering and leaving a room.”

Yep, no matter what a POS he or she may be.

This means nothing.

When it comes down to the wire it’s Them and Us.

Republicans don’t really want to change the system - they just want to be the ones who get to loot it first.

So what? You telling us gently not to pick on you because you're senile?

Sucking up to totalitarians is still sucking up to totalitarians.

Now run along, you're late for tea with Mussolini.

And that was wrong to do. Just as it would be for Republicans to do against Obama. But that’s pretty obvious n

Jonathan Karl of ABC News has reported that GOP sources told him House Republicans gave Barack Obama a standing ovation at the beginning and end of his get-together with them on Wednesday.

Good grief, people. I no defender of the GOPe, but it's called protocol.

Your supposed to stand on entry and exit of the President....it was NOT a 'standing ovation'.
