The long tradition of the office of President should be respected; that belongs to the people. This man is transient and is losing steam. But the Presidency will go on and the next good President will deserve the traditions to continue.

Well put. I too have observed such behaviour. It is this group among others the rino/dinos and statist worry about the most...as in “who gonna pay for my babies” segment. The dependency class is to be feared if not propped up is their logic.
But, uh, we who work are the ones who are to pay, and those that don’t... they borrow money from the fed to subsidize.
Often wonder what life would be like if went through the same fraud techniques to “get on the meal ticket”, and relegate oneself to serfdom, servile and cowed.

The questions on these surveys are so inane — they only show that the “Party” really doesn’t have a clue what questions to ask. They already have the answers and are totally not interested what you think or have to say.

Tell you what, I wouldn’t bet the farm whether that’s Photoshopped or not. Made me giggle though.
I was coming home from a meeting to help out some colleagues (even though I’m retired, I sometimes offer my experience, etc. as needed)....off track...
On the way home, I get behind this car..in the rear window a big sign “$4,387 Tax REFUND!, ONLY ONE CHILD, call XXX-XXX-XXXX).
I got so frigging pissed I damned near had to pull over to keep myself from ramming this car.
What the driver was advertising is that she knew how to help a ‘taxpayer’ (ha!) file her return and get almost $5 grand back. THIS IS EITC! Earned Income Tax Credit. It is a redistribution program where they take from us and give to her and her ilk.
She is advertising the number to call because what she is willing to do is to fake up a W-2 with fake income that puts you in the optimum region to get the Maximum EITC ‘return’ Goddammit!
This was in the middle of town...if it had been out here in the country where I live, maybe a different story...but, this goes on EVERYWHERE in this country.

A psychological phenomenon in which hostages express empathy and sympathy and have positive feelings toward their captors, sometimes to the point of defending them.
These feelings are generally considered irrational in light of the danger or risk endured by the victims, who essentially mistake a lack of abuse from their captors for an act of kindness.

Traumatic Bonding does not necessarily require a hostage scenario, but which describes “strong emotional ties that develop between two persons where one person intermittently harasses, beats, threatens, abuses, or intimidates the other.”
One hypothesis to explain the effect of Stockholm syndrome is based on Freudian theory. It suggests that the bonding is the individual’s response to trauma in becoming a victim. Identifying with the aggressor is one way that the ego defends itself. When a victim believes the same values as the aggressor, they no longer become a threat.
