They whine in California about the internment camps, but leave out the German and Italian internment camps, those pesky POW camps, the Rape of Nanking as well as Kamikake pilots.

Libs love only the parts that are anti-white, Christian or American.

The Japanese have been one of the most racist races on the planet.

Yes, the Koreans hate them and the Japanese thought the Koreans and Chinese less than human and treated them that way.

The Japanese “scholar” who tries to deny the atrocities committed by the Japanese in Nanking as “Chinese propaganda” has to ignore the hundreds of reports, photos, and even movies recorded and published by western missionaries and diplomats.

Thanks the scotsman. And postwar German schoolbooks’ coverage of The Holocaust used to consist of, “anti-Jewish measures were intensified”.

The extent of the Japanese defeat at Midway wasn’t made public until the mid-1950s.

Chinese and North Korean atrocities have been more recent.

Yes, you're right... Maybe we've made a deal to let North Korea take out Japan... and this is psyops... or maybe it's just an interesting thread at an unusual time. Wednesday... right?

The Koreans hate em.

Everybody in Asia hates Japan as an entity, though they may have good business or personal relationships with Japanese companies or individuals. If a China-Japan war ever breaks out it doesn't matter what treaties these countries have with the USA - every one of them is going to support China.

My wife's grandmother survived the occupation of Singapore - to this day she hates everything Japanese...except sushi. :)

From your link - one of my thoughts was ‘girls as young as 13...” - by today’s standards we’d be lucky if our lowlifes only raped girls as young as 13... Thanks for sharing the link...

(December 1937) Known historically as the ‘Rape of Nanking’. In 1937 (the real start of WW11) the Chinese capital had a population of just over one million. On December 13th. the city fell to the invading Japanese troops. For the next six weeks the soldiers indulged in an orgy of indiscriminate killing and rape. They shot at everyone on sight, whether out on the streets or peeking out of windows. The streets were soon littered with corpses, on one street a survivor counted 500 bodies. Girls as young as thirteen, and women of all ages were raped by gangs of 15 or 20 soldiers who roamed the town in search of women. Over a thousand men were rounded up and marched to the banks of the Yangtze river where they were machine-gunned to death. In the following six weeks, the Nanking Red Cross units, buried around 43,000 bodies. About 20,000 women and girls had been raped, many were murdered. Department stores, shops, churches and houses were set on fire while drunken soldiers indulged in wholesale looting and bayoneting of Chinese civilians for sport. In charge of the troops during this time was General Iwane Matsui. At the Tokyo War Crimes Trial, Matsui was found guilty of a war crime unrelated to Nanking and sentenced to death. He was hanged in 1948.

I lived in Manila, makati to be precise in the late 60’s. My office was on the top floor of the Sarmiento Building on Ayala ave.

Lower down, Mitsubishi Corp had offices. The boss was an th executive in charge of administering the reparations provided via Mitsubishi

When he got on the elevator, the peope next to the awll literally got crushed as they insured no one had to touch him and recoiled backwards. most would not follow him onto the elevator.
