That’s great. I’m starting to have regrets about Rick Perry’s run in 2012. I didn’t think he was the best, but I certainly think he was better than the last two standing. There’s no doubt he would have made a far, far better president than President Obama (or Romney for that matter).
Go, Rick! I’m sure he almost choked when he had to endorse Romney last fall.
Perry was my candidate until he dropped out, and I’d support him again.
Yeah, it’s easy to be against letting drunk illegals out of jail, but unfortunately Perry’s not trustworthy on illegal immigration himself.
Cruz is about the only pol in Washington, at least, who is still speaking out against amnesty.

Sure hope Cruz doesn’t stop too quickly. If he does, Cornyn is going to have a very flat nose. Will be interesting to see if old John can manage his fake face of conservatism until election next year.
Cruz definitely is scoring some points based on all the flak that is out there flying around. Between Cruz and Paul it is even more interesting to watch McLaim scramble to try and be someone of relevance.
