Had a friend when I in lived in MA whose daughter worked for this wretched pos. After she proudly posted a pic on facebook of her kid with the hag, I ended the friendship, it wasn’t worth the sheer frustration. Her daughter tried to engage me in battle and I shut that down immediately. It’s difficult enough to try shedding light on the adults in my life, wasn’t about to try undoing decades of wrong headed thinking with a know-it-all 20 year old.

Came from a Depression mentality that permeated the family. FDR was God and you couldn’t say a thing about him that was negative. However, my father, who was wise, kept quiet about politics in front of my mother (a good-hearted soul who didn’t know dick about real politics, yet railed against stupidity in local government - all run by Democrats).

I remember talk prior to the election but the more that was said about her, the more popular she became. Talk show host Howie Carr tried his best but the union workers and butchy women were very supportive of her and any supposed “dirt” was considered a non-issue.
