So your claim is that millions who now vote Republican would if pot were legalized start voting Democrat? Can you give any reason for anyone to believe this surprising claim?
[silence]
So that's a "no," then.
You just want it legal so you are not paranoid about the police anymore. Pot makes you paranoid
It's not "paranoid" to worry about the police when in violation of a law - unless you think USSR circulaters of dissident literature who worried about the police were "paranoid."
Paranoia is one of the most unpleasant "side effects" of marijuana.
I never disagreed - what I said was that it's not "paranoid" to worry about the police when in violation of a law. Perfectly sober people often have that worry in that situation.
You may disagree with someone, but it doesn’t make them an idiot. If you had listened to Mr. Prager for any length of time, you wouldn’t be labeling him as such.
You will notice that nowhere in the author’s disagreement did he label Dennis or his position as idiotic. Your argument was lost from the outset by usage of “idiotic” because it makes no statement as to how it is idiotic.
It’s funny, that you would probably agree with Dennis on many other issues. But it would seem that your mind is closed based on one disagreement.
I never labelled Mr. Prager - I merely described the arguments he presented in the original article.

Those arguments were made in the original thread (to which I linked in my earlier posts) - I saw no need to rehash them here.

Since I haven't characterized Dennis, I haven't closed my mind to anything he has to say.
I always told my kids in high school baseball that marijuana could be extremely destructive to their developing brains, and that no amount of cool could mitigate that. That if they had to smoke pot, I thought they should wait until they’re about 25 years old. They were good kids though. It never really became an issue.
